Post Acne medication Cycle

A friend of mine is about to complete his 6 month run of acne meds. He wants to jump right in and start a cycle of just beast with liver support. I told him he should wait a couple months because of how strong the acne meds were. How long should I try and convince him to wait?

accutane?? which is one the most common ones id say 8wks min. During that 8wks he should use liver support and get bloodwork done twice at least.
