Not only was that statement made entirely in jest, it was made privately.

I've have never pandered for karma, nor was that a message I ever intended to be seen in open forum.

I didn't see a sticky by digger. There isn't one up right now. Anywho, I thought the defination of a k thread was one where you pander for k for yourself, or people agree to trade it. Its rather difficult to follow ambigious rules. I would think with the new batch of mods, this silly thread locking nonsense of karma would have become a non-issue. The biggest proponents of doing this left EF.

Well, it still seems alive and well from what I can see. I'm not exactly sure why that is the case, and I'm disinterested enough in the karma system as to have not even bothered to go see if there is a method to the madness. (I used madness as a double entendre intentionally)
