Polysorbate 80/Nizoral 2% EOD?

Is it ok to use them alternately EOD? or does Polysorbate HAVE to be used ED?

It works for me. I use Nizoral EOD and on alternate days, Polysorbate 80. It works out well for me because the Niz can dry my hair and scalp out but the Poly seems to make it very heathly.

I've done both. I used polysorbate EOD... switching with nizoral... and I used Polysorbate ED... and used nizoral EOD... washing my hair twice on nizoral days.

One of the tricks to getting the benefit of polysorbate is to leave it on your scalp for a few minutes... so I put it in... then shave... wash... etc... then rinse it off.

i do the EOD thing now with poly-80 and nizoral 2%. i comb the poly-80 through the hair after wetting the stuff in my hands since it is SO thick. and it calls for combing through a more full head of hair. i leave the poly-80 in there for 1 minute 30 seconds.....and the nizoral for 5 minutes. 5 minutes of sheer hell. lol.

If nizoral works in hair recovery or loss prevention, why do they not make any claims to that affect?

It's simply advertised as a dandruff shampoo.

well. lets think about it. its a topical anti-fungal for the scalp. clean scalp equals clean follicles equals less hair fallout. people murmur on it being a topical anti-androgen....i have yet to see any proof on this. i tell you one thing is isn't "supposed" to get rid of zits either and it cleared up my arms to this day.
