*Poll: What is your post workout shake or meal??*

What is your post workout shake or meal?? List them here. I think we could all use some good ideas. Try to list some specifics too, not just "...protein, carbs...". List what kinds of protein and carbs. I usually within an hour of working out, take in 50 grams of Isopure protein mixed with water, 2 slices of grain bread, and a spoonful of sugar in the shake. Sometimes I'll throw some creatine in the shake.
 
At the moment my post work drinks are:

1 triple threat 3/60 shake (choc or vanilla - i have both) in water..
1 Soar carb drink (by VHT).

YUM
 
One Isopure drink....40g protein, 25g carbs
12oz Grape juice.....60g carbs
5g creatine
300mg ALA
 
immediately post workout:
12oz cranberry juice w/ L Glutamine
one serving (60g protein) triple threat 3/60
maybe a peice of candy or two

w/in one hour of workout:
big ass meal which consist of 1part protein (chicken breast, steak, fish or pork) and 2 parts carbs (rice/veggies).
 
Myoplex MRP (mixed with 2 oreos, and a spoon of peanut butter) + 10g creating - mixed in blender with ice.

I drink two a day...
Great taste - Doesn't taste like chalk...
 
Shake:
40g protien
3g carbs

wait 1/2 to 1 hr

9 egg whites, 2 yokes, heaping spoonful of peanut butter
 
I'm bulking right know so 30 minutes after workout I take a Prolab-Nlarge shake eat 2 yogurts a peanut butter sandwhich and a couple cookies. Then about 1-2 hours latter I eat a big meal. I also drink a quart of water after working out.gilly6993 why would you take 3 protien shakes after a workout. Your body just pisses away the extra protien. It's a waste why don't you spread them throughout the day
 
ISOPURE 35g post work out, then N-Large half serving 20 minutes post work out, Kool Aid/Mistic for simple carbs. Then 1 hour later I eat a large meal ;)
 
right after workout:

1 Scoop of Creatine HSC -AST- 5 grams creatine,
30 grams sugar = 175 cals.

10 grams of GL3 Micronized Glutamine-AST

2 scoops of VP2 Whey Peptide Isolate-AST 50 grams of protein

400 mcgs ALA 200 Alpha Lipoic Acid-AST

2000mcgs-B-12, 1500 vit. C, 1500 MSM

45 min. after the above:
1 Scoop of Creatine HSC -AST- 5 grams creatine,
30 grams sugar = 175 cals.

10 grams of GL3 Micronized Glutamine-AST

One Ny-Tro PRO-40 - AST

one hour after that a 1/2 pound hamburger with cheese or large steak
and side dish.

with in 2 1/2 hour's after your workout you have put in a rough guess of about 130 grams of protein, 10 grams of creatine, 20 grams of glutamine. Go to bed rest and grow!!!!!

As you can tell I like ast products :-}

myoplex "chocolate" 2 teaspoons of creatine and 2 tablespoons of peanut butter, L-glutamine. using 1 cup milk, and 1 cup water. about 2 and 1/2 hours later, 3 homemade burgers, with lots of chili peppers.

post training formula (1 cup) from protein factory mixed with powerade/gatorade. 50g carbs 33g protein. Everything I've researched states you want to spike your insulin levels post workout.

I also add 5 grams glutamine peptides and sometimes 5 grams creatine.
 
1 carbo force= 440 calories and 115 carbs

3 scoops of optimium whey=330 calories and 60 grams of protein...i eat no fat in my post workout meal as it slows down the digestion process....
 
Immediately after training:
2 cups white rice: 70 grams carbs
1 scoop whey: 22 grams protein

1 hour later:
1&1/2 cups cottage cheese: 45 grams protein
3 Tlbs. natty peanut butter: 25 grams fat
 
Right after on the ride home
5grams L-Glutamine
40 grams protein whey
60 grams V 8 Splash

1 to 1 1/2 hours later last meal of day

high protein moderate carbs like
8 eggs 3 yokes with vegetables and a little cheese 1 slice bread with peanut butter
