POLL: Do you Assprirate for glute Injections?

Always no matter were your inj ive been in vein twice in glute actually only muscle I've hit vein and I inj all over

Rather safe than sorry, they say. I have gone through veins with blood pushing some of my gear out when I retract the pin, which pisses me off, because where I pinned 500mg Cyp, e.g, I have now lost at least 150mg. I have never drawn blood when aspirating. I have hit nerves in the glutes with quite a fair few compounds and also in the shoulder, mainly with hcg. Hitting a nerve is a whole other type of painfull experience.

Glutes is actually the only time you need to aspirate when injecting. Anywhere else is not needed. I know this because Im majoring for my medical doctorate.

I haven't read the whole thread as I no longer pin glutes. For what it's worth, I recently read a medical abstract on injections/aspirating and it said the same thing as the quote above. Your best chance of hitting a major vein is on a glute injection. Anywhere else isn't necessary. Of course, that abstract didn't cover bi/tri/pec/trap/calf shots.

Yea I pin in glute quad triceps bicep on occasion and hit debts all the time. .aspirate no matter what. . Weird part glute only place I've ever hit vein

I have never aspirated ever. If my gf is helping me pin I will tell her to aspirate but I've never done it myself

I always leave an air bubble to push all the oil through the needle. Duh

I don't aspirate at all and rotate between quads, glutes and delts. Nurses don't, so I don't really see the need.
