Pick3, I need some advice here.
The OECD statistics for 2012 (published in 2013) measuring public social expenditures as a percentage of GDP show the following:
US: 19.4%
Ireland: 23.1%
Social Expenditure - Aggregated data
That’s a full 19% higher than the US expenditures – and that’s disregarding the fact that Ireland has socialized health care and dumps a lot of its costs on employers as well.
What would you do?
1) Wait until the morning to burst RedScam(TM)’s bubble or do it tonight?
2) Would you chastise RedScam(TM)'s for using a source that’s probably from CyberCollege or a similarly non-credible source?
3) Should I call-out 75th as a bandwagon retard for adopting RedScam(TM)'s argument without checking his sources first?
4) Would it be better to let those two wallow in their ignorance? Am I taking away the best thing that’s happened to both of them today?
5) Would you consider 75th just as ignorant as RedScam(TM) at this point, or do we still give him a slight mental advantage?
This is a real conundrum. Any insight would be appreciated.
