supertech.. honestly man.. do you understand the issue at hand? do you understand the words i write? did you graduate from the 3rd grade? do you see that it's not about people not wanting to hear or say the pledge of allegiance, and that it's only about having to say or hear the phrase "under god" when the pledge is recited?

I understand all the point of views, including yours, everyone is entitled to believe how they want. I truly do believe in freedom of speech but, there comes a point when it goes from infringing on the minority to infringing on the majority. Like it or not it always has been, always will be the majority that wins. Nobody is being treated inhumanily, nobody is being physically hurt & nobody is making anyone say the words. Do you see my point as to why society changing is not always a good thing. We are changing for the worse in so many ways & you can not sit there and honestly say that we are not. Womens rights, race rights were all good things but, now we are nit picking on the things that this country was formed on. This would in effect change a whole lot of things. The swearing in of the president (has god in it) the currency, swearing in of a judge & other government officials, just swearing period. It would allow some scumbag to get off of a contempt of court charge because he doesn't have to swear to anything that is valid when taking the stand. It is a large part of our country & it would have a huge affect. When it's time to say it, avoid conflict, stand up & look at the popcorn vendor and sing mary had a little lamb if you want. Nobody would give a shit, that's your right.

I don't take anything said to for or about me on these boards seriously. The issue is offensive to me not the comments or the people. This is the first time I've been in this area, if I want to keep my blood pressure under control I may have to saty outta here!!! who the hell would marry him, stevie wonder? i just looked at his pic closley, and have come to the conclusion that his tatoo does not make him tough. last time he posted pic he was so skinny everyone told him to go eat a hamburger and stop the hunger strike but it looks to me like he overdid his little binge and now he isn't even ripped, but just skinny fat. i know people get mad when i insult people without my own picture so i will post my own picture tommorow showing me to be better than decem.

i think musclebrains or johnny already stated it in this thread or the other.. but i'll state it again.. the constitution was created to protect the minority and no it is not always "the majority wins" or "what's best for the majority"

my main concern is that kids in schools being forced to say/listen to the pledge of allegiance DIRECTLY affects their views/beliefs. to say that it does not is absurd.

have you been reading this thread or the other one? the fact that this "under god" crapola only made it's way into the pledge as of 1950 or so has been stated a bazillion times.. so NO.. this country was not formed on a pledge that says "under god".

and it's my right to NOT have to hear it and to NOT have the country in which i reside, the country of which i am a citizen, the country of which i served have such inappropriate, inaccurate, and atypical of my beliefs and my views and myself to refer to "god" in every document and pledge and swearing in and fucking whatever possible.
