but what about the tax? shipping? insurance? the bike isnt sold over here in the states (Aprilia) and wondering how this all works?

I told you, you have to call customs, you'll find the # on the net. And yes - they will tax you (still have to call and ask), shipping - it depends on how heave the bike is: 600$ for sure min and it will have to go through inspections to see if its fit for the US. Thats what they told me when I wanted to do the same
