Please review my first cycle

What's up everyone. I have been here for a while, just reading and gathering info and i am pretty much ready to start my cycle.
My background:
- 5'10"; 253lbs; 23yrs (will be 24 in 2 months)
- I have been training for 7 years
- I did my first BB competition in 2003 and have done 2 more since then
- After my last competition in december 2003, I was around 200lbs 7%BF January 2004.
- By the end of 2004, I was 265lbs then dieted and competed in early 2005 at 215 lbs with 3-5% (learned a huge lesson, it's very pointless gaining excess weight during off season)
- And since my last show my training practically went down hill because i suffered a knee injury but thank God for my diet, i was able to keep a lot of my muscle and i have been going 100% again for the past 4 months or so.
- So right now I am sitting at around 253lbs with a comfortable bf between 12-15%

The cycle:
This is what my friend wants me to do (he has been competing for a while now and has a lot of experience)
-week 1-5 700mg test en & 600mg Deca-Durabolin - nandrolone decanoate -
-week 6-10 500mg Sustanon & 600mg Deca-Durabolin - nandrolone decanoate -

This seems way too much for me for my first one. I am not sure if this how he started but all i know is that he has been growing tremendously for the past 2 years. But i would like to go smaller based on my research so I am thinking of something more like this:
10 weeks: 600mg test en & 300mg Deca-Durabolin - nandrolone decanoate -

Because the test en comes in 350mg/ml (10ml), I was thinking of even doing just 500mg per week for 12 or so weeks (along with the Deca-Durabolin - nandrolone decanoate - ).

I appologize if this seems like a lot of info. So basically my goal is to obviously put on size as I am hoping to compete later next year but most important is to assess how my body responds as I hope to do go as far in bbing as i can go. However, I will be honest, if i don't respond too well (making the assumption i did everything right to be best of my ability), i will definitely not do another one and just continue been a natural BB. Any comments and insights are appreciaetd. - peace

Most people are going to say to do just a test only cycle at 500mgs ew. Since you already seem to have your diet and lifting in check I would say go with your second cycle, not the first one your friend put up. You do not want to switch test compounds in the middle of your cycle it will mess with your blood level. Keeping the test the same test E will reduce sides.

Make sure you run Arimadex at .5 mgs ed through out your cycle.

For PCT use Nolvadex 25mgs ed for 4 week starting one week after last test shot, and then use dermicrine sustain one bottle till it's gone.

You should also run the test two weeks longer than the deca.
1-12 test e
1-10 deca

I appreciate the insight. Just a quick question, i thought you only take ancillary compound during a cycle only if you need to and i thought stuff like that will prevent you from optimal growth during cycle. Second queston: Is Arimadex the same thing as liquidex or similar? Because i read a while back how liquidex will reduce estrogen and increase test at a similar dose of.5mg per day.
 
liqudex is the same thing. I usually start off with .25mgs and then go to .5mgs ed just because I do not like the bloating
 
id do 10 weeks (you'll be done by 8-- done gaining i mean) of test (whatever kind) and deca, without altering the dosages. 500/300 would be good enough
 
good post! You asked this question the way all who are new should. good detail. Too many new to this don't do their homework and jump right on a cycle with no thought.
 
I agree with the above post. Good post about a first run. But u seem more serious than the average firsttimer anyway in terms of training and diet. U state that aside from gaining size u want to gauge ur reactions to juice. This is exactly the reason u should put the de.ca off till ur next run. test only first time.
This will enable u to know exactly what causes any reaction u might have. If u stack u'll be reduced to guessing. This isn't the case on the second run because u'll already know how u react to the test so if anything's different that'll most likely be the de.ca. U seem to be in for the long haul so be patient. U'll be glad u did.

i agree,,, but i would add an oral like winny or t-bol or v.ar to keep your shred going while adding muscle.. i would put deca off till next round though
