Both NY firefighters Both in Manhattan. My family and I have heard nothing.
 
I'm sure they're ok man. Will keep a good thought for them regardless. Hope you and you're family are doing ok.
 
Damn Flexed! The is an emotional roller coaster. We think we lost NJ Stacks, but it was a lie.

Now your bother is out there battling for the American people. I will pray for him and be thinking of your family.
 
Then they were involved in the rescue efforts.

They will be in my prayers as will you & the rest of your family.

Their bravery and courage surely saved lives and for that they've acheived the greatest human accomplishment. They are heros.
 
It pisses me off that soemone I have seen on television attacking our troups may now effect me within my very family. It makes me realize how small this world really is. I broke down in tears as I watched my hometown go threw this. I broke down even further when the building collasped as I knew when something like that collaspes folks trying to save others get killed and hurt. 200 firefighters are missing and i don't know where my brothers are.
 
just saw a women on the news who was being interviewed and she mentioned the firemen inside trying to rescur people when the second tower went down. the waiting sucks but i have a feeling it will be a while before we know either way whats going on.

Bro, my brother and I am moved by your post. You have our prayers. We have three buddies we graduated from high school who are firefighters.

We consider all firefighters to be be real Heroes. These men and women are the very essence of the meaning Heroes. They put their lives on the line on EVERY FIRE in their business, by saving lives and then property if it is possible.

We hope you find out they are all right.

I for one, am going to have a hard time sleeping tonight.

I cannot fathom what depth a person could sink to over politics. Sometimes I get political on the board, but not overboard like these terrorists. Opinions are just that, and no one has the right to go to such a level. Self defense is fine, but taking lives for a political statement is unacceptable.

I sincerely hope that your brothers are all right. God knows what I would do if this happened to my family. We are not that tight, but they are all I really have.

laserdude that was very nice thanks. i went to www.nyfd.com and it say 200 missing and i have also heard 250 firemen missing so who really knows.
 
spoke to my sister in law. my youngest brother is on duty and in a covering firehouse. my second brother has been at the scene all day and has not been heard from. he is with engine 53
 
my sister in law just informed me that the chief was indeed killed. chief downey was his name. rip
 
still no word. i just had dinner with a friend and this is on my mind. with all of those trapped i hope he is not one of them. i guess i will hear something in the morning. this has been a very fucked up day.
 
still nothing. i saw they just pulled five from the rubble alive on the news. i am somber to say the least. still i wait with no word. i don't know what to think.
 
also i tried to get through to enging 53 with no luck. no answer. amybe phones are still out?
 
Flexed, anything is possible... Please don't give up hope, we're all praying for him. I really hope you have someone you love with you to support you through this.
 
Just checked this post for the first time this morning, hoping for good news. All my hopes for your bros flexed, keep us posted.
 
We're all praying for your brothers as well as all the other firefighters, police officers and civilians still trapped.
