Hello,

I am fairly new to bobybuilding(ie 6months or so). I was wondering if you could analyse my diet and give some suggestions for additions. I want a diet to help put on lots o weight. Before i go into my diet I am also taking creatine and Zebutol.(All protein is from the Protein factory)

Morning- 3-4 eggs/2 wheat toast/1 cup lowfat yougurt/1 2% milk chug
Lunch- Chicken or Fish Product(8-12oz)/Steamed Carrots/Potatoes
Supper --Similar to Lunch but a bit more portion.

In between(To keep something with me every 2 hours or so)--2 whey protein shakes w/ 2%milk(50 g protein each), 1 post workout shake(50 carbs, 50 whey protein), Peanut butter(serving varies), 1 tlbs Flax

Ok I am 21 and only weight 145(dont laugh i hate it) and am sort of a Hardgainer. I am on the Max OT routine so I know that my routine is set up for Mass gaining, i was iffy on my diet. Sould i add more fruit? I have about 1 hour of free time during the week so dont have time to be cooking steak everyday. Suggestions? Please help I wanna get up to 170. I want to be gaining like 2-4lbs a month. . .slow but noticable.

Thanks
Jeff

Why not add some brown rice and other complex carbs (yams, oatmeal, etc.)? Have another protein shake before bed.

You need to eat more bro. Definetely not enough eating in that diet! If you wanna bulk try get 4000+ good calories. Get yourself a "Hardgainer" supplement shake to fill in the gaps in your diet. I would be eating more for breakfast, say 6 egg whites and your two pieces of toast, plus a big ass bowl of cerial (oatmeal maybe) and maybe a gainer or protein shake. Mid morning maybe a heap of fruit, maybe some tuna, and a protein or gainer shake. Lunch some sort of meat with alot of vegetables (not too many potatos) what you have there seems ok, plus gainer or protein shake. Afternoon (pre workout) dont eat too much, maybe a couple of bananas and something else (around 300 calories for pre workout, not too much protein or carbs either), post workout drink 900 calories from your gainer (this will give you great results), then for dinner have a similiar meal that you had for lunch (start lowering your calories towards the end of the day, dont want to go to bed with all those calories in your guts), and finally some gainer before bed. You wont be able to eat all this straight away, you will have to slowly train your stomach to handle this kind of diet, but you will see results from it. But I think a gainer drink will help alot in your case. In regards to cooking up your meals, I do all my cooking on a Sunday and Wednesday and place my meals in the fridge and just heat them up in a microwave at work (if your lucky enough to have one at work, if not visit a 711).

Good luck!
