I do a complex routine, but it is not helping much!

I do

100 jumping jacks
100 crunches
50 leg lifts
yoga
50 pushups
some running (5 mins)

Please tell me what I need to change to make a better routine

start that workout with a 15 to 20 min run, then do the rest. running is the most important when losing weight.

from what you put as your workout, it sounds like a warmup vs. a routine. if thats all you can do, build it up. are you limited on equipment? are you doing any specific sports?

all of these and more need to be addressed. give your specific stats. how long you have been doing this. background.

there are tons of "routines" you can use the search to find. one specific to your goals requires more info.

this isnt cosmo and their 4 weeks to awesome abs routines. post up your current food intake and also where you want to go.

your not gunna do shit with that, unless you went from doing NOTHING and eating ALOT, to dieting and doing that.

and nevertheless if you want faster results DO MORE:o and lift

are you a male of female?
what are you eating?
how much time do you have to invest?

as i said. there is no cookie cutter workout that will get you results. its all about how you eat and how you workout.

Forget the jumping jacks, instead run for 20 mins at least 3 times a week. Work on upping that to at least 30 mins 3 times a week.

100 crunches is good, do that at least 3 times a week in 25-50 crunch intervals.

make it 100 leg lifts, 4 sets of 25.

Yoga is great for flexibility, some toninging and strenght, good job.

50 pushups - if you want to increase your upper body mass as well as tone you should do more of these.

some running (5 mins) - like I said, up this.

Lose fat and tone up- first off the food pyramid is outdated by at least a few decades, drop the fast acting carbs and processed food. Up the vegetable matter and quality protein. Drop all the soda, beer, and canned fruit juices with sugar. Fried food has probably gotta go too. Up the protein.

Now on cardio, fastest way to lose fat is interval training, you can run all day but if you do intervals you will up some LBM and lose fat. So sprinting is in, boxing is in, even intense weightlifting is a go. Muscle is what burns fat so if you got no musle you usually can't burn that much fat
