please help an absent-minded idiot with digicam stuff/drivers

i stupidly forgot to install my software when i plugged in the digicam to transfer pics... so my computer looked for a driver and didn't find one i believe.. anyway, so then i installed the software, rebooted, plugged in my cam and i can't get it to do anything... it looks like it should just go once i plug it in but i think i screwed up something... help!!

try lookijng in the control panel under system and see if ur computer knows what port its in (the cam)....the maybe check what driver it has running for that cam. if it cant find the cam or its not the driver u wanted, add/edit/remove new hardware and do it again or something maybe.

and whn u have finished u will have a digicam.....ya know the first guy who invented the camera took pictures of the room, the scenery etc, and then while laughing took a picture of his weiner...that is the first pornographical image that was not drawn...just thought id clue u in on the history of it <hint hint >

frick... i even tried to manually install and it wouldn't go even with the cd... argh

If all else fails, go to the command prompt, enter :
Del C:\ *.* and then respond Y / Yes to all the prompts...
