After several weeks of reading the forums at EliteFitness, several days poring over the Platinum threads, months reading every (bad and good) printed resource I could find, and mind numbing hours wading through various online resources; I've come up with a plan to reach my goals. I hope that the more experienced among you can help me with comments and suggestions.
First, let's begin with a little background data. I am a 42 year old male. I am 5' 7 1/2", 178 lbs, 16-17% BF. Recent blood work indicates all values (including hepatic panels) are within normal ranges, except a slightly elevated cholesterol reading (210). The cholesterol reading is linked to a genetic predispostion in my family for elevated cholesterol. I have been weightlifting/training for 10+ years and made my living as a personal trainer for the last 4 years. My workout regimen for the last year has been moderate and aimed more at maintenance than gains. My diet is good, but far from perfect since I've not been training with specific goals. I gain strength relatively easily (or at least have in the past). Current one rep maximums are: Leg Sled 1210 lbs., Squat 395 lbs., and Bench Press 235 lbs. The problem for me has always been adding significant size. I once got as big as 188 lbs at 10% BF and, while I was strong as a mule, getting to that size was a struggle even at 25 years old.
My goals are ambitious, but I hope not overly ambitious given my age and somatype. They are also completely vain.
Twenty four years ago, I graduated high school as a 126 pound geek destined for great academic success, but with little expectation of ever being appreciated for my physique. Four years of college in Hawaii and six years in the Special Forces added some weight and muscle, though. As you've guessed by now, I've got a 25th year reunion coming up next spring. I've assiduously avoided all the other milestone reunions and have had almost no contact with any of my high school peers. I'd really like to make a BIG splash when this event rolls around. To that end I'd like to show up at 190 and 8% BF. It goes without saying, that bigger and leaner would be better, but I'm trying to remain realistic. Here are my calculations:
Current: 178 lbs X 16% BF = 28.5 lbs BF
178 lbs - 28.5 lbs BF = 149.5 lbs LBM
Goal: 190 lbs X 8% BF = 15.2 lbs BF
190 lbs - 15.2 lbs BF = 174.8 LBM
Net Change: + 25.3 lbs muscle mass
- 13.3 lbs body fat
My current diet is approximately:
Protein - 1 g/lb BW, Carbohydrate - 2 g/lb BW, Fat - 60 g/day
for a total of 2676 kCal/day.
This diet is not strict and can vary from day to day, with wildly geater carb/fat intake on rare occasions. (My wife is a banker and we are sometimes have to make appearances on the rubber chicken circuit.)
Given my age and history, I believe that to reach my goals in the time frame I've set forth I should (need?) to get a little help from AAS. Here's the stack I have in mind:
-------- Deca | Sus250 | Dianabol | Nolvadex | Proviron | Clomid
wk 1- 400mg | 500mg | 30mg/ed | ******* | ******* |*****
wk 2- 400mg | 500mg | 30mg/ed | 20mg/ed | ******* |*****
wk 3- 400mg | 500mg | 30mg/ed | 20mg/ed | ******* |*****
wk 4- 400mg | 500mg |********| 20mg/ed | ******* |*****
wk 5- 400mg | 500mg |********| 20mg/ed | 25mg/ed |*****
wk 6- 400mg | 500mg |********| 20mg/ed | 25mg/ed |*****
wk 7- 400mg | 500mg |********| 20mg/ed | 25mg/ed |*****
wk 8- 400mg | 500mg |********| 20mg/ed | 25mg/ed |*****
wk 9 - ***** | ******| ******* | 20mg/ed | 25mg/ed |*****
wk 10-***** | ******| ******* | 20mg/ed | 25mg/ed |*****
wk 11-***** | ******| ******* | ******* | ******* | 50mg/ed
wk 12-***** | ******| ******* | ******* | ******* | 50mg/ed
wk 13-***** | ******| ******* | ******* | ******* | 100mg/ed
Additionally, supplement with Saw Palmetto, Multivitamin/Mineral, Creatine, Glutamine, ZMA, and ECA (weeks 9-13). Should I consider clenbuterol instead of ECA?
My diet plan calls for an increase of daily Protein intake to 2g/lb BW, Carb intake to 3g/lb BW and decrease Fat intake to 40 g/day. My workout plan is for an aggressive 4 day/week split, increasing to 5 day/week split in weeks 7 - 13.
Is this too much? I want to take as much advantage of the first timer's sensitivity as I can without overdoing it. By the way, the logic for the Nolvadex throughout the process is twofold: prevent aromatized estrogen side effects and, more importantly, prophylaxis for my propensity to higher cholesterol. The Proviron is both for it's antiestrogen effects and to prevent deca-dick, which I understand can be more pronounced in older athletes.
I want to get my shopping list in order before I begin source seeking. I certainly don't want to start until I have everything planned and all my gear on hand.
Thanks,
Duck
