Pizza - the perfect post-workout food?

Ok, please don't flame me, because I'm completely serious about this.

I've read on several Glycemic index and diabetes sites that Pizza has the unique ability to keep insulin levels elevated for extended periods of time.

Now, this is obviously bad for diabetics and/or people trying to get cut. However, do you think that it might be useful during bulking periods?

I must agree with baddogg, there is a lot of fat in pizza's and most people having trouble stopping with just 1 piece.

Pizza's from Pizza Hut, Dominoe's, etc. has a lot more fat than the ones you buy from the grocery store. Still all that cheese has a lot of fat in it.

High Insulin + High fat= Fat ass

Remember, the point of post workout nutrition is to replenish muscle glycogen and start recovery not just maintain high insulin levels.
