PIX, Please Critque Honestly....

Hey EF,

I haven't been around lately. I have been slappin on the mass after my competition , these pics are 25 pounds heavier and 1 month later. I was wondering if you guys could help me out some. Critique my pics and let me know whatcha think honestly. I can take it don't worry...its the only way to improve. Currently I am 183+ pounds, and 5"9.5 @ about 6%bf. I greatly appreciate all comments. The more the better. Pic it apart so I can improve my body. Thanks alot.

Look good bro...good separation in your back...probably your strongest bodypart. Your delts look good also.

Your calve are your weak link...need to put a lot of time into those.

What is your current calve workout?

Your legs have good separation but need some more size also.

At 25 lbs lighter than this you must have been pretty light. You are very lean, but I would try and put on some more size.

I am guessing you are doing natural shows. If so, you are looking great, but a little more mass especially in arms and calves is in order.

Great back, by the way. The rear lat spread is by far your best shot. Best of luck to you.

its hard to say from those pics.

calves are hard to tell since you dont have any showing in your back poses.

maybe a tad more on the upper forearms. some overhand curls for a little while. or pump them up more.

delts are good as is your back detail. only thing i can see is maybe your traps for your rear double bicep. a little more up top. your mid/lower traps are nice, but just a bit more up near the neck.

other than that, just put it on all over. keep everything symmetrical and you'll be happy.

your body should shape up the way you want to see it. overall you still have a small waist, which is a perishing commodity these days. keep it if you can.

keep in growing. maybe a bit more in the quads to match your upperbody's size. since thats growing probably pretty quickly.

:)

Always good to see some broad lats make their way to a narrow waist. nice lower traps too, your back looks pretty complete.

Things that you might wanna catch up to become as good as the other bodyparts:

- triceps are a bit overpowered by the biceps, the long head is ok, but you could use some extra meat near the elbow (start with heavy weigted dips, JM presses?)

- as already mentioned calves , they aint small but if you sport rockhard quads like that you want the calves to match....

- upper traps needs some more specific training to make'm grow somewhat more to your ears...

All in all you hoover around some good physique that the average joe could only dream of and these little points of criticism are only because we are always busy improving ourselves...

I truly thank you guys for doing this point critique. If there is anything else that I should make priority please add additional comments. What you have given me is great, I will improve these areas so that my body is well balanced across the board. This has been the best advice and critique that I have had and I truly appreciate it.

I am doing natural shows. I did my first show only about a month ago for the NPC. I competed at 158. I came in 6th out of 18 competitors in the middleweight division.

My goal is to pack on the pounds, I want to be 215-220. So that is all in time but I would like it now.

I am trying to pick up as much knowledge and know how as possible...I have only been bodybuilding seriously for 6 months, so I am kinda wet behind the ears still.

Thanks again for the great criticism, the best that I have had yet.

Overall, you look really good, nice seperation in the back and good overall balance. You also have a nice streamlined waist. your arms are bulky for your frame, but it never hurts to have bigger arms. Your delts and chest look good, but you need more fullness. Legs are really cut, nice shape, but could use more mass. If you can add another 20lbs, to the right places your physique would look spectacular. Good luck. . .keep training hard!!

number two: you've only been bodybuilding seriously for 6 months and you're already doing shows? holy shit again.
please explain man.

you look good bro, just remember not to get discouraged by any of the above post. your are way above most people......

quads need alittle more mass

To answer your questions which I receive all the time, and people always tell me that its bullshit so I don't take hard feelings from it but its true...I have no need to lie!

First this is me in the show

http://www.pbase.com/image/2724904

I was 158lbs @ about 3-4%bf after the show as most who have competed know you gain the weight that you lost back extremely fast. I gained that and then some.

I started working out seriously on Jan.05 2002. I have pictures after my 2 monthes of working out. Some guys at the gym thought that I had a great body to compete, I was hesitant at first then I decided to do it. That is all. It was my first show but I have taken a liking to the IRON GAME, and I'm here to stay and learn. I got 6th out of 18 competitors in the middlewieght division and I was the lightest in my division( a big mistake).

I started out a 148-150 after 2 months of serious eating and working out I got up to 174@ 7%bf and then I started cutting for the show got down to 158 @3-4%bf.

I'm at work, but I will be glad to put up some before pics. I don't have many without shirts on because I was extremely skinny and when you don't have it you don't flaunt it. But I will post them.

Thanks again for the comments and I hope that there is more constructive criticism to help me improve my body, thanks again.

hehe, aint it the truth. im was up 15lbs from the 22nd of last month, now im back to normal water capacity and still about 12lbs up.

what is your caloric intake at right now? since you are up to 180+. im just curious because i weighed almost the same as you competed at. im taking in around 3500 cals, sometimes up near 4000. just wondering. i wouldnt mind being up around 180 in a few weeks. :)

no fucking way are you natural!

either you did powerlifting before, or some kind of strength training.. or you have taken some Sust250 shots and proclaimed yourself natural. People need to train for years to get the kind of physique you have, even with proper diet and proper training it still take YEARS to build that kind of body. Not months, but YEARS! I been working out for 2 years with heavy compounds and lots of protein and naturally, my results are more believable.

This is me at 190 12% bodyfat, 5'11

You have to body of someone who did atleast 5 years of strength training, or someone who took testestorone shots and worked out for few months. No way will I ever believe that you are natural.

Your ripped bro. To the people calling bull shit on him for not being naturall, come on he is not a mass monstor. Your legs need some serious work and calves, but u have plenty of time for that..seeing how your still a gym novice with 6 months under your belt.

not a mass monster? 16.5 arms at 6% bodyfat is not mass monster? Thats the fucking final goal of many people, and he achieves it in 6 months? ok.

hey buddy, you got me all wrong man, i wasn't calling you out or calling bullshit or anything....it's just that when i saw your pics and the fact that was the result of only six MONTHS of training, whereas i've been training for 6 YEARS (and i'll be honest, you look better than me), i just thought to myself; un-fucking-believable! anyway, muy impressive

a tip for the pictures, try to get them in a place where you can get more light or consider using a moderate intensity flash... because there are too much shades that don't allow to see if your symetry is really ok.
