Pisarenko Snatch Pull pic

Pisarenko was an amazing athlete and in my book one of a few people who could be considered to be the strongest man of all time. Twenty years later, his 265kg (585Lbs) clean and jerk has only been surpassed a couple times and barely surpassed at that. And like Taimazov, he also made the weights look like they weighed nothing when he lifted. If I recall correctly, he was a champion Greco Roman Wrestler before switching to weightlifting (European Champion?).

My wife took a picture of me and him in Atlanta in 1995 at the Superheavy invitational. He was holding his son Nikolai and I was holding my daughter. He was sitting in the VIP section and I walked up to him and just asked to take the picture. He's still a very huge man, 15 years after his last competition.
