I cant imagine that being true. Maybe the person behind the counter was new or something. Ive worked at various pharmacies and a retail pharmacy normally doesnt carry needles for IM injection. Only sub-q like insulin needles. I guess all places can be different but Ive never dealt with an RX for a box of IM needles while working in the retail setting.

Maybe I got lucky, but it did happen. I didn't even get questioned about it. I was a little leery about asking but I figured what the hell. I could always walk away. Don't think I broke any laws. Maybe the state that I live in doesn't regulate the sale of needles, others might. Good luck.
