Yeah... I miss JJ alot. I miss Goldberg and Steiner... lots of good werstlers not out there... although, Goldberg has a tendency to hurt other wrestlers because he is an idiot...
WWF is what I love to call it... it's funny, they talk about how Hogan was back in the WWE... WTF? It was the WWF back then!

I miss DX too, that was just fun. Especially their skits, it's sad how much everyone but HHH sucked when they weren't together.
However, I don't miss the Insane Clown Posse or Master P and the No Limit Soldiers.

Just wondering but what do you guys watch wrestling for? Not to cut on you, I just am more into real fighting. MMA, UFC, Pride- the real dealio. Are you into the showmanship of it or what? Most of those guys would get a beat down by MMA fighters. I have met the Big Show, the Undertaker and Eddie Guerrero and they were all super cool guys- nothing like you would imagine. The Big Show was the funniest. He asked me where to get .50 cal ammo. A Desert Eagle still looks tiny in his huge ass hands. Imagine his huge ass runnin' up on ya with a Desert Eagle. You better run fast!! haha. WWF is pretty hillbilly white trash for the most part and you guys dont seem to fall into that category so what gives? Are you secret white trash? haha.

No way, Scott Stapp's nose is a definate giveaway! I know that many of the Jap fighters(like Sak, my fav) are wrestlers but wrestling in Japan is real not fake like here. Totally differant deal. They can actually fight. I do understand that WWF is not easy and they work hard and all that but I just dont get the draw. Last time I saw a WWF crowd it looked like mullet sportin' tank top wearing white trash. I like the Rock, he is a great personality, very likeable - I just dont see why people are all into it. I mean it is fake fighting, what is the point? Similiar to pro boxing in that respect.

OYE... did I hear wrestling was fake?! Take a few bumps in the ring, and train at it for a few months... these guys are the greatest athletes in the fucking world...
It takes HELLA skills to do what they do... many athletes from other sports can't hang... UPC or REAL fighters typically don't have the athleticism to compete or even look good in a Professional Wrestling ring.

Come on now C, that is pure BS. UFC fighters dont have the athleticism to make it in pro wrestiling? How bout Ken Shamrock? You cant be serious, mixed martial arts fighters are some of the best athletes out there. I think you misunderstood what I am saying. I agree that WWF takes major talent and all that- it is a difficult thing to make it look "real" and they do a great job, but to say that they are the best athletes is a bit far fetched. It is fake fighting, plain and simple- surely it is tough and takes skill but it is a differant thing animal than real fights. I talked with Guerrero about this very subject and he agreed with me. He was always bumped and bruised, the guy definately earns his money but it is not as bad as pro NFL players or real fighters. They do it for the money and rightly so. However they would still take an ass beating from many real fighters and they dont deny that fact. Also, have you trained in wrestling C? Just curious, you seemed to imply that. I dont know much about WWF on a technical level, I have trained in jiu jitsu,kali and ninpo most of my life so I can imagine it is similiar as far as athleticism.
Oh and what do you mean Saint? Sakuraba is a japanese "wrestler" and he is completely 100% not fake. Have you ever seen Pride Fighting?

Back to ME. I've never seen UFC or Pride or whatever else you listed. Wrestling is fun to watch, it's nostalgic, I used to watch it with my grandfather, there are hot chicks, there are hot guys. There is comedy, blood, violence.

you are missing the point... and i would have more pride if i could get it locally... i own everything i could find... i like MMA and wrestling... wrestling is much more entetaining because it is sposed to be and i am sure a lot of guys could stroll back and forth... imagine if angle started to learn striking, but vinnie mac won't let his guys do any type of no holds barred fighting because of the risk of injury.

Sure the Lion's Den is based here in SD but Vitor Belfort has nothing to do with them. Last I hear he was training with Darrell Gholar. I dont know about him living in La Jolla, he trains with the Machado brothers sometimes but I dont know about him living here-seems doubtful. He looked like shit in his fight against Chuck Lidell anyway. Ken Shamrock(Lion's Den) will be fighting Tito Ortiz on the 22nd of Nov. Should be an awesome battle!

Your the one guy! haha. Yeah def get into BJJ, great stuff! Although, the Gracie family is losing some of their pull because of Sak(the Gracie killer) in Japan. I think certain people have studied and learned to beat the Gracie system. Sak sure has. Royce got his ass kicked again in his last fight recently.

Are you talking about Vanderlei Silva? He only beat Sak because he was so brutal and the Japs are more sportsman-like. Silva is great but damn he is an ugly bastard! Looks like a demon. He is a Muay Thai fighter- not BJJ. Vitor Belfort whooped his ass in the UFC, that was great. Vitor sucked against Chuck Lidell though. My fav fighters are Frank Shamrock,Sakuraba and Bas Rutten(tough bastard!!!).
