Pin disposal

Don't want to see any pins wash up near the beach here so I'd figure I would post some ideas on how to get rid of used pins.. Individual: Place plastic tip onto the end of the pin and unscrew it from the plunger. Place both pieces into an empty soda can. Then crush it and dispose in garbage or dumpster away from your residence. Bulk: Place plastic tip onto the end of the pin and unscrew it from the plunger. Place both pieces into an empty bleach jug (place cap back onto jug) and dispose into a dumpster away from your residence. Or if you feel brave enough to deposit them at your local needle exchange program you can do that as well. Anyone else feel free to add their process.

I put mine in a thick shoe box..when it gets full I just put a tape around it and throw in the garbage...

The bleach jug thing is the best way to make sure you,your pets,garbagemen,etc don't get stuck with your dirty pins.Tape the lid on to be safe.

I like to wrap em up then tape em then put em in a bottle of some sort, any kind of container that seals works too

Empty protein container, screw the top on tight andtape it if you want.

after im done injecting, i wrap all the items (vial, syringe, alcohol wipe, cotton, pin) in toilet paper, and tape it up.

I put them a tall pickle jar and throw the jar away when full.

Put them all in a protein tub with them wrapped in toilet paper, tape the tub shut and throw it away.

containers? I give them to my neighbors kids to play doctor and nurse with. Then I take the left overs and hide them in sandboxes as a suprise. Kind of like the easter bunny.
