You can get a Sharps Disposal Canister at Walmart in the Diabetic section of the Pharmacy for a few bucks. They're the best to use if you are very safety conscience or have kids in the house.

I thought about chopping/cutting or breaking everything (needles, vials, etc), puting them in a container (16-32 0z), fill the container w/ cement, then toss it into a lake.
