Do any of you have any? other than lobes I have none but am thinking of getting my tongue pierced, problem is I work in a call center so I only have like 2 and a half days to have it swell down and be able to talk right.... any of you done this before?

dont do it, I lost a tooth over one, I bit down on it in my sleep and cracked the tooth through the roots

tongue piercings also put a lot of wear your tooth enamel.

i had an industrial and a helix-orbit as well as my eyebrow done (which was the worst) but i took all of them out (long story.)

i was considering piercings again and i'd probably only get the helix-orbit because its rather unusual and looks good imo.

interesting... my husband has had his for 10 years, zero problems and dentist told him it did not bear any effect on his teeth... but im still to pussified to do it... i havent told him, it's a surprise :) how long did i take for swelling to go down in order to be able to talk normal without pain for you guys?

Lobes: 3/4" plugs

Nipples: 6g circular barbells (in pic, I have 6g bead rings)

PA: 0g CBR

Tongue: 2g at one time, but is now only about 16g due to being out for a long time.

I used to have a tongue bar for about 2 years (late 90s). I never chipped any teeth, but my GF at the time didn't like it, so it had no use ;). I had it long enough that it's fully healed, and I can still put a bar back in, if I want to. YES they can damage teeth, as Shirlene unfortunately found out. I had a plastic one for night time, to prevent that. I had a couple of close calls, where I thought I cracked teeth, but got lucky, when I had a stainless barbell in there.

It didn't take long at all for my tongue to heal the couple of times I got mine done.....everyone is different, but I was talking just fine right afterwards. It's not that your tongue swells up as much as it aches all the way down the back of your throat. Take Ibuprofin and suck on ice chips if it bothers you.....and be SURE to always rinse after eating/drinking. I have seen infected tongues, and it's just disgusting! And while it's still the longer bar they use initially, be careful when eating - you CAN bite on it and it hurts!

I currently only have my navel pierced, have had my nose pierced before, and have had two hood piercings previously.....first one was a ring, second one was a bar. I like the bar better......had to remove the first one for a surgery, and finally got around to getting it pierced again. Had to remove THAT one for my boob surgery, and just never got it pierced again. Fun, though....makes you super aware of your "parts" down there, for sure! With all the racing I do nowadays, there is no way I could get another one....

I only have my ear lobes pierced. I wanted to get the a helix ear piercing once, but never did it. don't really wanna pierce anything else...

I might wait until Sept for the 3 day weekend, that way I have Sat, Sun, Mon and most Tuesday to heal.

I have 4 piercings in each ear, that's it.

Anyone have a subdermal implant?

cool pics bro :)

Thanks!

I forgot to mention that the one of the ear plugs, I did as a prank for another board I'm on. I put a pair of vacuum tubes in my ears, for a topic somebody started that was something like "So how much are you really into vacuum tube audio?" .

Now some day I have to figure out how to hook a cable to all the visible piercings, and do some lifting; making a weird-out photo for this forum
