picked up some fish oil

2 gel caps= like 2-3 grams of fat

so anyone can tell me how much of it I would need to take?

it was on sale at costco so I got that and a multivitamin

If this is the content per 1 pill, then take 5-6 pills per day.

If it is the content per 2 pills, then take 10-12 pills per day.

Doesn't matter.

The only reason you might want to spread them throughout the day, is that if you take 10-12 pills all at once, you might get fish burps. But that goes away eventually, after about 2 weeks.

i take a tablespoon = 20 g of fish oil fat. per day

3tbsp (sometimes 4) for me = 42g's fish oil = 42caps => caps=disinvestment

the most sensible deduction followed from above: buy 'likk-it' fish oil!
