i think its good to mix it up. depending on your opponent, sometimes muay thai has you standing a bit too straight for mma.

By the way, the guy Anderson is boxing is a local golden gloves champ from the LA area, named Dre. He's done some sparring with one of the kids from the boxing gym in Bell, where I go sometimes.
