the guy in the pic is a friend from high school, he moved down to San Diego a year after I did to go to school.

He is not a brother, but he's closer to me then my real brothers. He is half white and half filipino, I am 100% white bread.

What was your time in the 5k. I ran one for charity once. My time was 24 minutes and something. Not too bad for a muscled up dood that didn't train much for it.

Them little guys that train all the time can haul ass for the entire run. I always sprint at about 3/4 speed the last 1/4 mile, I didn't see anyone esle doing that.

hey bro i hope you didnt take my pic as a blow to you. i have no idea who looks better. i thought our bodiez were very similar. i still dont know who looks better there. i have problems with my self esteem, so i still see myself as the fat 250 pound 16 year old.

to tell you the truth i havent worked out in probably 6 months, so my pics arent too impressive. i hurt my shoulder (not sure what happened) and got kinda lazy after that. i can show you some pics i took with my webcam around 6 months ago if you want.
i still dont consider myself natural tho. im going to get back into the gym as soon as i can pay off my gym fees which should be soon.

thesepics are old, but this is what dbol did to me before the test kicked in. very bloated. right after those pics were taken of me at 190ish, i started a dbol test cycle and started to eat alot

doesn't look like shit to me man, you still stayed fairly learn and you can defiitely see size increases all over.

there's a 10k here in newport (where i live), a relatively new road race...

it's some time in may. i won't bother to enter unless i can hit under 55 minutes or so.

not much time left, so it's doubtful. but very cool that my development has its own race nonetheless. i'll be out watching fo sho.

deads are justified in and of themselves. nothing like the feeling of a full-body movement that allows you to move more weight than you could in just about any other way. power.

take this with a gain of salt because i don't work out and stuff.

I've slacked on deads for a few months too, I've been squatting again which is good, but deadlifts seem to fatigue my entire CNS to the point that I can almost not continue with the rest of my workout.

Like most people who work out for cosmetic reasons, I always hit chest, back, shoulders, bis, tris and traps (with shrugs). If I am not feeling 100% deads and squats are the first to go (but I go through stretches that I do them 2-3 times a week).

I lost about 10lbs recently and my strength is way down across the boards. Sucks. I look bigger than I think I ever have.

Last week at a bar a chick brushes by me and had to grab my arms. She says "wow" and turns to her girlfriend and says "feel these arms!" the guy then grabs my arm, then her boyfriend's to compare. lol!!

You have it the other way around IMO. Those should be the one's that stay. They are the three most important lifts and should always be done IMO. Isolational movements would get the axe before compound movements if I was too fatigued. That's one of your major problems.

Unless your not giving it 100% don't expect the results you want.

I agree 100% man. I used to start ever workout with sqats and deads, then bench, then pull ups and rows.

I frequently called it quits without ever doing tris or bis specifically.

The thing is, and this seems to have gotten worse over the past year, I do those heavy compound movements and I am just OUT. Not that my muscles are fatigued, my brain is, I just can't force myself to get it done. Its frustrating as hell. I'm thinking of trying to get to bed an hour earlier every night, maybe that will help?

When's the last time you took a week off? Also, you supplementing? Drinking too much?

Looks like biteme is having better workouts at 40 then you are at 28. ;)

i just took 2 weeks off, so rest isn't the [roblem.

No supplements now, I need to eat more.

Drinking more then usual but not too much.

Well, diet is the most important part of making gains IMO. Once you get that straight, then you can improve your training.

i know man, fuck, I just need to get food down. I'm a hard gainer for sure, I need to eat 3500+ cals a day to gain the slightest bit. I find it tough to get that many cals with a clean diet. I've bulked up to 215 before (I'm 190 now) but I carried a lot of that around my waist and the only way I did it was by eating EVERYTHING in sight which included a LOT of saturated fat :heks:

You have no problem with arm size that is for sure your arms are what makes your delts and traps look smaller though cause of there size.

If I hear your pussy ass dropping deads and our squats I am going to kick it. Also be hitting chins close grip as well as wide grip. Start with cleans with just the bar tell you get the movement down then start adding weight. I am shit at trying to explain how to do a lift. Go to the training forum and get one of the guys there to explain it and possibly post up a video once you get into the grove of it not to hard at all. I love power movemnts always start my workouts with the big lifts. If I am not feeling up to pair I drop the geigh shit I cable cross overs but always leave the main course.

The grocery is the most important trip of the week. If you don't buy shitty snack food at the grocery, you can't eat it. If you keep good, healthy, food at your house there's no reason to order a pizza or chinese food. Quit slacking and get with the program, B.

Ummmmm..... I would say hit the traps and lats hard, that would give you more of a V taper.

second....... I would add some larry scott isolation crunches, meaning feet over the bench (not hooked under something) and add some weight (dumbell)

third......why do some guys have that kind of chest that droops down and is not squared off at the bottom of the chest ? is that genetic or can you actually change that ?
