A coffin doesn't have to be buried 6 ft. If the water table is high so will the coffin.

Which is why cemeteries are always best on hills!

I don't think those are floating coffins in that picture. First of all, bare coffins aren't placed in the ground, they go inside steel or concrete vaults. Secondly, there are some headstones still in place there. Thirdly, the formation is too good for them to be floating. These look more like above-ground monuments covered by a couple of feet of water.
