Hell yeah, bro. Shampoo is the best (Robbie Tronco is a great DJ). Egypt On The Waterfront is essentially Shampoo with a more luxurious atmosphere. If you go to clubs to dance, hit up Chrome and Babylon - they resemble smaller versions of NYC clubs and have some good hard house and progressive house and trance, but they don't get crowded until later in the night. Remember, clubs in Philly close at 2am most of the time (although there are usually special events that end up keeping them open until 6am on many weekends).
If you are into raving, go to Motion. I've been there a few times, but I'm not into the rave scene as much as the other club scenes, so I tend to stay away. The place is huge and has an awesome sound system though, I'll give it that.
Evolution 2 and Maui/Cobalt are also pretty good.
There are a bunch of other smaller clubs in old city (Transit, Envy, etc.), but they have more of a bar feel than the bigger clubs.
I tend to like the Philly scene because it is more friendly than the NYC scene, but still keeps the NYC flavor.
