Phentermine. Any experience? better than Meridia?

I was reading about this appetite supressant and was wondering if it's better than Meridia or not. Anyone have used it?

I have used it and had good results, however to compare with meridia I cannot say I have not used as of yet, but am hoping to use it again in several weeks when I start my new cycle

I don't know anything about meridia except that it appears to be an SSNRI.

Phentermine is an alpha-substituted phenethylamine like amphetamine. Many of these drugs have quite a potential for recreational value, dependence, and have noted appetite-suppressing ability.

"Sibutramine is metabolized by cytochrome P450 isozyme CYP3A4 resulting in 2 active primary and secondary amines (called active metabolites 1 and 2) with half-lives of 14 and 16 hours, respectively."

Hmm... that rings familiar with amphetamines as well. I don't know what meridia is used for, as I've never heard of it being used as an anti-depressant or for neuropathic pain (the latter being what I use an SSNRI for). Sounds interesting.

It was the stimulant half of Phen-Phen which works great for me, I have never tried Merida.

Hey Georgie I was reading about Acomplia and is great!! Besides being appetite supressant, is heart friendly. users on high doses reported high HDL cholesterol levels...

i've used both..

I prefer meridia.. it works with the pathways to the brain, making you feel fuller sooner, and killing cravings..

Acomplia works wonders, even better than pondimin.......pondi is linked to laky heart valves so i dont mess with it anymore

acomplia took its place for me

Meridia is hugely expensive and not very effective.
If money is not a consideration, then start with Meridia. When Meridia stops working, move up to phentermine.
