PETA is at it again! What losers!

Speaking of EXTREME TERRORISTS, a bunch of kids broke into the last place I worked, tortured and killed many animals there. Maybe, someone should go into those classrooms and teach about basic life and compassion. I bet those children will make fine adults for our society one day.

Peta is an extremist terrorist group and they are being allowed in our classrooms to indoctrinate our children.

Drinking milk is animal cruelty? Get real! One needs to get past the "ethical" part to see the real agenda peta is pushing.
Now should someone like this be allowed in our classrooms with our 4 year olds and up? NOT!

It's kid cruelty.

Read up about drinking milk....I have...it's gross

Not to mention what it does to our bodies because we lack the digestive system to break it down properly. Cows have 4 stomachs for that. Leads to everything from acne to ovarian cancer.

All kinds of health problems actually. But give your kids a nice big glass of bovine slime. Who is harming who in this country of healthy Americans? Yep...PITA really harms kids.

how provable a link from milk to ovarian cancer is probably debatable at best, but I do agree with you, the milk companies to supress a lot of the bad effects of milk, as well as the inabilty of most to digest it correctly

as far as this goes, how provable is the claim this teaching programme is just trying to make them all vegans? If they stuck to their mandate and simply tried to show that animal cruelty is wrong, and didnt touch on what goes on in slaughterhouses other than its supposed to be humane thats fine

I;ve seen school TV programs sponsored by meat companies where they attempted to ridicule vegans and said they were mentally less capable. while this is true for young children on vegan dietsit isnt for fully grown people, so it does work both ways

I agree with you. :) :) :)

People complain about PETA and all their propaganda while they are completely suckered by the meat and dairy industry at the same time. Gullible :verygood:

I've learned to look at my body and what is was designed to eat. I am not a vegetarian either. People don't realize the stress they put on their digestive systems/the problems it causes with the stuff the eat.

PETA even tries to scare kids away from drinking milk, a food so controversial that it occupies its very own wedge on the latest FDA food pyramid for optimal nutrition. A series of trading cards called "Don't Be a Milk Sucker" available from its Web site, features cartoon characters suffering a host of illnesses PETA attributes to milk consumption such as ear infections, obesity, acne, and even diabetes!

Nor does milk consumption escape PETA's definition as a distinctly cruel act against animals. We meet "Milk-Stealing Ming," who is depicted with his mouth directly attached to an unhappy cow's udder, alongside a "wanted poster" describing his crimes and exclaiming, "cows make milk for their babies, not for maniacs like Ming."

If we are to take at face value PETA's irresponsible suggestion that "animal cruelty" — as defined by their radical, catch-all parameters — is a reliable indicator of psychopathic tendencies, I suppose it's just a matter of time before we all read about Milk-Stealing Ming's future adult crime sprees in the headlines.

Apparaently Starfish cannot read or chooses not to read. Goto peta's website and see what they say.

Milk unhealthy? Then I guess the billions of people throughout the centuries drinking milk suffered all kinds of horrible health problems.

The founder of peta wants to be skinned and made into hand bags and wants to be roasted with an apple in her mouth? Hmmm, I think that is quite extremist.

Also, they like to portray themselves as militant. Look at how they treat those with differing view points.

So, your place got broke into and some animals got hammered. I guess we better round these kids up and put them away for life, cause according to Peta they are already mass/serial murderers.

Animals are lower on the food chain for a reason. To be eaten. Last time I checked a cattle farm, the cows and beef cattle get better treatment than our homeless, prisoners, etc.

Chickens please, make great filets.

No one here is denying that an animal should be treaated nice and wtih respect, but in the grand scheme of things we are meant to eat meat! Period. We drink milk and it is healthy, I have no problem digesting it or assimiliating it or whatever, nor do my kids, my friends, etc. Sounds to me like some take Peta as the gospel.

According to peta having a pet that is lavishly cared for is animal cruelty. The founder of peta wants to be barbecued over an open pit fire with an apple in her mouth, and have her skin made into wallets and purses and sent to the us congress to make a point about her beliefs in animal cruelty.

Now should someone like this be allowed in our classrooms with our 4 year olds and up? NOT!
nice post! these fucking whack nuts are.....um....nutz!

Show me where PETA says that...please don't quote what somebody else says about PETA.

Are you kidding me? Have you already forgotten that ridiculous "Drink Beer, Not Milk" campaign they came up with a couple of years back. They are raving lunatics.

The idea of treating animals ethically is a noble cause. However, they have an extremist view of what is ethical. I mean, it's wrong to intentionally kill animals for amusement. However, people must eat. Life feeds off of other life. It's just natures way.

I'll admit that I'm against killing animals for fur clothes. We have better ways to make clothing now than using animal skin. Leather is OK since we eat the beef first.

I've always had the opinion that PETA is more interested in publicity than actually helping animals.

Obviously someone from PETA has never been around a cow at milking time. They're in pain unless they're milked. Hell, a lot of cows even go right into their own labelled stalls (I'm talking about personal experiences on organic dairy farms with around 200 cows). I've milked cows by hand and with machines. I've yet to have any of them mind it.
