Persistent Muscle Soreness

After 2 years of lifting, w/o drugs, I know what “ordinary” muscle soreness is, like when I work out again after a layoff, or I switch to a new body part I haven’t work on for awhile. The soreness always goes away soon, a week max. Recently, I’ve been working my biceps using hammer dumbbell curls and concentration curls. The same soreness I had when I first started still persists, and it’s been weeks. Not in the joint, just the muscle. Not enough to seriously interfere with the workout or affect everyday life, but very annoying. I do warm up sufficiently. Could there be some vitamin or supplement I am lacking, or anything else? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

overtraining, not enuff rest, not enuff protien, not enuff vitamins, could be alot of things. need more info.
 
Sounds like you might be overtraining your bis, what is your routine like? how many set, reps etc..
You should try taking a week off from working that muscle, I know it sucks missing a week but its better then risking long term injury.
