... and when I say underarmor shirts do not mean that brand, its just the only name I know of for tight polyester shirts. I've had peeps on EF say this is tacky or skanky, but several style gurus have told me its fine and shows my physique well.

Please no comments on the fact that my arms are not as cut as in my avatar, since I am aware of that fact. I'm 5 lbs heavier, with less bodyfat and less water retention (I was on a test only cycle at the time of this photo). Sorry if you can't see much detail, its the only pic I have with me wearing something like this. I'm sorry, but if you have a big chest, a small waist and at least 17" arms, its not tacky to where slacks with a tight polyester t-shirt, unless it is a formal occasion or church perhaps. However, this is just my opinion.

Ok, can someone send me the link to a free uploader then? That one everyone was using recently is not working for me. I'll repost.

its hard to see your silhouette in that pic so its hard to judge. If i saw a guy wearing that i'd think he was showing off but 40% of women show off their bodies too.

sorry BBF- but underarmor shirts look gay! on buffed dudes & skinny geeks- its totally west hollywood in my opinion.

Totally went over my head babe. I have no idea if west hollywood is a good or bad thing. I've never set foot in California.

how many threads are you going to start on this topic?

This will be #2, and the last one was like 6 months ago. It seems to be a topic on several threads I'm on and wanted to discuss due to the fact that others seem to be posting on it today.

"We Must Protect This House!!!"-underarmour commercial

That doesn't look like underarmour btw...which you said....just more of a tight t-shirt :)

It's always tacky to wear polyester shirts, and yes I do have a few. Undergear is for workouts and should only be worn during one. I'm just not the flashy type. I only have one tank top and I rarely wear that to the gym. I already know what I look like and when you're as big as I am it doesn't matter what you're wearing......people know you lift.

tight shirts = trying too hard

if you have a respectable physique, you don't need to wear skin tight shit with high sleeves to announce to other people that you work out. otherwise you are that guy. don't be him.

Wetht Howwywood.

For chicks tight shirts are overkill. They can usually tell if someone's buff much easier than us guys can... At least that's what I've seen.

Underarmour, I am not even a fan of the guys that wear it at the gym. I tend to wear more fitted shirts as I am not the biggest guy in the world, but they highlight my features better...I would definitely not cross into the under armour line though

i just wear harley davidson full sleeve cotton shirts. Go an extra size smaller if you wanna show off the contours of your arms and chest. Works just as well and MUCH classier and cooler. None of that "west hollywood" look. hehe.

that shit'll never go out of style, or ever look "uncool", and you don't have to worry about getting called "geigh". Oh and you can even walk into any dive or biker bar too w/o getting asked where your bf is! Added bonus. :)

I've found it to be the exact opposite....some ladies I know would see Coleman or Cutler and be like "not very impressive"...

Or at least they won't comment about it...

Anyways if one looks like they lift they can fill out a t-shirt and not resort to geigh clothing...

my ex played LaCrosse & wore one under his jersey- I thkn thats what theyre originally made for- not outerwear.

Yeh...I played as well...and that is their use...it wicks the sweat off of you which is somewhat helpful...and doesn't get heavy like a t-shirt

Outside of football and lacrosse I can't think of any other sports where it is worn

>don't even dress like that.

It's a general idea. Just be modest. Wear t-shirts. Dress shirts. Jackets. etc. Just never wear anything that screams "look at me, i'm trying REAL hard here to show off".

enough about clothes, lets talk a little more about BBF.

OMG! This thread came into reality tonight. Came back from a club, and this big jacked guy was walking around in his grey wife beater, huffin' and puffin' trying to look all tough and shit. he looked like such an idiot!!! hahaha. And yes, women were avoiding him like a plague... Hangin' out with the skinny guys with the baseball caps and baggy pants.

Hmm...I like it ONLY if u're a pro football player (which may I add, they look so GOOD in)...otherwise... hmm...I have to say no.

I thought you either had to be pro or suck cock to get away with one of those...

I like to wear black boots, black jeans, and a black polyester shirt as well. Works for me. It tends to illustrate your back and delts.

Exactly!

Ick no workout clothes in public...not even if you're going clubbing. Like mentioned before, a nicely fitted cotton t-shirt is ok, especially if it's vintage or vintage-looking. Polo shirts or not-too-baggy button downs are hot too. But if you're going the t-shirt route, don' go too tight--there is a guy in one of my grad classes with an amazing body, but his shirts are always so tight that you can see his pecs move up and down while he writes, talks, and with basically every other little movement he makes...it's so funny.

Right, but why? Just because you like wearing it, or does it serve some purpose?

it was posted before.....it is supposed to keep your skin dry by absorbing your sweat.

Somehow the shirt stays dry against your skin which would lead everyone to the conclusion it is for sports, and not casual wear, or so I would think.

doesnt it have a big ass patch on it that says UNDERARMOUR?

like UA logo right in front

No, miine does not. Its not under armor brand. They are just tight polyester shirts. Almsot like a tight t-shirt you can see cuts through.

wearing underarmor in public is a straight up no no. I wouldn't even wear it to the gym, I wear sleeveless shit to the gym, why you wanna cover up and get all hot n shit... unless your gym is like 90 degrees. Only times I have worn it were under uniforms in football and stuff, keeps you from getting abrasive rashes. People notice by the width of your shoulders, neck, forearms, and how your clothing lays on yoru chest and back... they can tell you are into bb without you wearing spandex.

you may think its funny, but you must admit, i am pretty damn jacked

underarmour definately helps when playing sports. for baseball, i get quite sweaty during games as i either pitch or catch every game. underarmour helps to pull the sweat from your body and its also much lighter when its soaked with sweat than a cotton t shirt would be

Also nice when its hot outside in the summer (I live in Texas peeps) or in a hot club and you want the sweat to evaporate fast.

Underarmor shirts are made for fatties. It holds the fat in. And yes it should not be worn out in public. If need to, put another shirt on over it.

I saw a guy walking out of a store with a Underarmor T on that was fat as hell. The shirt just made it worse, it did answer the question of just how much Psi poly fabric can handle..alot

As to wearing it in public I have to say no but thats just me.

People wear under-armour in public? I laugh at the guys that wear in the GYM.
Ive never seen them worn out, that would make someone look like a complete fool! Theyre for football, not to go out!

The underarmour plague has moved into my gym..

2 trainers are now wearing it as casual clothing...both don't even look like they work out....

See what you started BBF!!!:)

i like underarmour shirts and other shirts made out of that fabric. some of you may not like it or think it looks really gay, but i don't really give a damn. i think they're more comfortable than other shirts, and if you sweat a lot, these shirts don't show the sweat. and in the summer time, i sweat like a mofo

Going to get BBF's back on this one.

1) I don't really care what you think I look like. If you are a woman and don't like it and avoid me, great! It just saved me 5 minutes of having to talk to a superficial bitch. I initially thought of making a post on this board like BBF, but then I thought "why do I care what they think?"

2) UA is really comfortable. I just got some. I have some sleeveles tops and short sleeved tops. I will wear the sleeveless in the gym and when I go running because it does help me stay dry. The more fit you are, the sooner and more you sweat during a workout. I will wear long sleeve and the short sleeve casually depending on weather because it is so comfortable and keeps me cool in heat and warm in the winter.

3) I like the style of it. I like sleek lines and minimalist efficiencies. It's very modern (assuming you are fit) in that way. In an ideal world, it is what I would picture everyone wearing. I know what I like and don't care what anyone thinks. I like double breasted suits, too, with the six buttons and the crossover close to the neck.

Synpax is right, and it gets hot and sweety in clubs...I live in Texas people. The shirts really help. Also yes black shirts of this type make you look huge when you have a 32" waist and a 52" chest as I currently do. It also makes your arms appear larger. Other guys will stare at you and move out of your way if you are big enough and wearing something like this, so it cuts down on bullshit and working you way througha crowd. A definate plus when doing bouncing work (like I did last semester) or just clubing in general... or even when in a crowded grocery store.

If you need an UA shirt to walk through crowds, your not intiminating

Or maybe I just like skin tight polyester. Did that make any sense? I'm a little sleepy.

OT: Chicks wearing tight underarmour/spandex/lycra are hot! Last weekend I went mountain biking with this chick, and she came wearing a skin tight Pearl Izumi Jersey....
