I have put sweat in the floors at :
Ropemans Fitness - ghetto as hell. Avoid if you can. Used to be the Old Main Event and was REALLY nice then. Even saw Goldberg get his ass kicked in there before.
Main Event Marietta - great gym. On the fitness side. Lots and lots of exotic dancers with their silicone tits in there everyday. When the WCW Power Plant (wrestling school) was around.. this is where all the WCW wrestlers worked out. Scott Steiner, Buff, DDP, Luger, Sting (until he quit working out all together) etc...
Coffee's Gym - the old Coffee's Gym was a hardcore builder's wet dream. there was nothing clean about that place. The fucking WOMEN in there were doing 315 for reps. I saw some physiques in there that could have walked on a pro stage and wiped the floor with some of these so called veterans. This is the cloest thing to Muscle Beach, CA that the South has. It moved and I never visited the new gym. Can't say what it is like.
golds gym/planet fitness/whatever the fuck it is callled now (Buford Highway) - had a large bodybuilding crowd back when it was Golds. Used to see Ric Flair in there a lot. Kevin Sullivan was there often. Strong ass bitch too. I saw him do 405 for 10 reps on the flat bench with perfect form. The only thing I hated about the place was going down, you had to go down about 60 steps. Then to get out, you had to crawl up them. Imagine doing that after a hard leg work out. And they never had decent hamstring equipment. Only one laying hamstring curl and the pads were welded into place so you couldn't adjust them.
Midcity Fitness - Boot Camp - Fitness Factory - The Body Shop - all faggot gyms. Don't go unless you plan on hangin out in the saunas and eyeing twinks at the juice bar.
Lee Haneys gym - Great gym, nice equipment, nice location, but closed on Sundays. Closes early on Friday and Saturday. Heavily black crowd, about 98% of all white males that train there are faggots. NO joke. But then again, not many whites train there. The faggots that do are the ones that are serious about it. Cheap ass memberships too. I remember back in 98 that it was like $99 per year to join and that included 4 months of free tanning. Not sure what it is like now. You may can find it online somewhere.
Northside Atheletic Club - bitch please. Overpriced, about $699 per year. the weight room is terribly small. And don't even THINK about doing squats in there. You will find the staff doctor on one side of you and the corporate attorney on the other side of you. This is NOT a gym to grow in. This is reserved for people whose doctors have forced them to do cardio and such. Busy shower area full of married men after a sausage buffet. They have a nice pool area to lay out around. I did that a few times on occassion and within 15 mins of laying out had at LEAST 5-6 invitations to dinner sent over from members to me by the pool staff.
World Gym / 24 hour fitness - good gyms but way the fuck out of the way. Up Peachtree Industrial Blvd and the World Gym is way out in Alpharetta.
There is a gym (LA Fitness I think) that is located in Colonial Square, but it is full of bitter old queens who only come down to gossip and exchange cocktail party invitations.
I think that covers it all.
