PEANUTS late-night

Does anyone throw down some peanuts or peanut butter and then hit the sack at night? I've been doing this for weeks with my protein shake and haven't gained a lb......got wayyy to skinny during my cutting cycle and trying to pack it back on....thought this would do it.......I'm talking 3-4 nice handfuls of shelled nuts, huge shake, some veggies with ff southwestern dip....actually in bed while watching the game(s)....thoughts?
 
just keep doin it man....I have nothin against it,I'm the same lay on the couch and eat the nuts....no gain here either
 
I'm a huge fan of peanuts and peanut butter - loads of good fat! I think they are ideal for bulking, and fine in moderation for cutting.

Also try almonds which have more protein than peanuts. And walnuts are good too!
 
ive always belive that having a handfull of nuts before bed gives your body something to digest overnight, which in turn helps stop your body feeding of muscle while you sleep.

anyone else back this up?
 
I eat more than a handful and then I crash, along wih my pro. shake and some veggies....still losing weight by the minute, which I'm not trying to do......
 
i love to eat almonds late at night, there is a grocery store inbetween the gym and my house, so i usually get some after working out
