Peanut Equivalent?

ANyone know what the peanut to peanut butter equivalent is?

I.e. how many peanuts does it take to get the nutrient profile of 2tbs of peanut butter?

My jar just says 150 calories for 1/4 cup of peanuts; which is about the same amount of calories in 2tablespoons of pb.

ok...how many peanuts in a 1/4 cup? 2tb of pb is closer to the 180 - 200 range

If it is ANPB, the equivalent should be basically 1:1, since ANPB has nothing in it but peanuts and salt.

Last time I checked, it was exactly like this: 100 grs Peanuts=600cals, 100 grs ANPB= 600 cals.

as for the translation of Tbps of ANPB to handfuls of peanuts, I don't know, you will have to measure them.

45 cashews are 190 calories so I imagine peanuts would be slightly more. Just fill up two ounces of peanuts in a measuring cup and count.

yeah i guess your right its just 30 peanuts seems like alot untill u go look into ur jar of peanutbutter and see milions of peanut pieces

I remember reading somewhere that 40 peanuts = 30g. There are 150 calories in 2 TBPS ANPB, right?

So, if 40 peanuts = 30g and 25g = 150 calories, then 33.33 peanuts = 150 calories.
