In magazines I read peanut butter is a healthy fat. Is says to eat NATURAL peanut butter. Is there a difference between that and something like jiffy or peter pan peanut butter?
Jiff and Peter Pan have unneeded fat and other additives that the body does not need. It is not bad for you as long as you watch how much you take in. It is just easier to track the fat, etc. with the all natural peanut butter.
actually, ive heard that peanut butter doesn't have as much hydrogenated fat compared to some other products, but since all it says is "partially hydrogenated" you can't know for sure. might as well stick to the natural.
Peter Pan kicks ass!!! I use a tablespoon and a half with my shakes. That is almost all the fat I take in a day though. My bf still stays in between 8-10%. Just keep all other sugars out and eat complex carbs! The fat will help a lot with the strength.
