PC gaming peeps, what all is in your rig?

I'm getting back into pc gaming and picked up Half Life 2. However, my wimpy graphics card ain't cuttin it (low end Nvidia Geforce4). I have a Pentium 4 running at 2 ghz, 512 megs RAM, but am thinking of upgrading to a gig of ddr2 sdram, plus switching out my Nvidia card with an ATI Radeon X800, which I hope my motherboard accepts. I'm thinking I should be able to run Half Life 2 with full effects then.

Planar motherboard from a Dell Dimension 4550.

It looks like I'd only be able to go with ddr sdram on that board. Damn.

gf7900 x2

conroe e6600

4 gb ram

6 320 gb drives paired up into 3 raid 0 arrays

dvdburner

etc.

it's my music room computer, but I should probably get a game or two on it... haven't played half life since college... are there any really cool new games out there?

loving the laptop, mostly a multimedia laptop - has good performance. I should have gotten the top of the line monitor for a larger resolution. Instead i got the middle option - largest setting is 1280 X 800.
Best bang the for the buck though, total with shipping was like $820
Now I have something to keep me busy during class :chomp:

Ati Radeon 9800XT

I only use my comp for computer graphics anymore so there is no need to upgrade it. I have my 360 for all my gaming needs .....

Intel Qaud Core Extreme 6700 @ 3ghz
2Gig 4-4-4-12 DDR2 Ram
Evga 680i Motherboard
Nvidia Geforce 8800 GTX 768mb
2x Western Digital Raptor in stripe raid
Dvd& cd burner
Zalman Pure coppper heatsink
Artic Silver Thermal Compound
OCZ 800w Gaming Power supply

I wouldn't buy either 8800gtx cards or Vista, at least for a few more months. There's huge incompatabilities with certain games and that combination, though Vista in general on its own has huge issues, as always.

Also generally, when nvidia first releases cards their drivers are shit for a good few months.
