when you send payment through paypal what does it show up as on your checking statement or credit card bill. just paypal.com or the individuals you sent it to?

okay i just checked my checking account for you (I used my checking account because I couldn't get the damn cc to work) and it says paypal/tranfer thats all

It will say the name of the company (the vet company). If you use western union it will come up as western union.
(I'm 99% sure of this, but I could be confusing paypal with billpoint)

I just checked. Paypal takes the money out of my checking account, it just says "authorized transfer #### paypal" on the checking statement and the company info on the paypal account. For billpoint I used my charge card, it says the name of the company on my charge bill.

Ok this is how it works
your registered at pay pal and they have your credit card info...
this is the only place your cc info will be..... this is so that if you buy 15 things at 15 different sites.... the only ones to have your credit card info is 1....paypal instead of 15 different places

also some websites DO NOT have a secure ordering page.... which is another reason for using paypal...

Sending CC info over the net on an unsecure page is a no no.... easily hacked.....

But as for your billing statement... it comes up as to whomever you bought your stuff through...

but of course it does not list the stuff

how to tell if your on a secure ordering page...
On internet explorer.... there will be a little lock on the bottom browser...
not sure about netscape...
