The land of meatballs, 9-month winters, boxy cars and the blondest girls on the planet. Not a bad place either (except for the 9-month winters) but it still doesn't compare to the US whatsoever. I came over for what was supposed to be a two-year gig and 10 years later...

I came as an adventure but I made the decision to stay and make this my country because there's no other place where you are judged based on your accomplishments, not your last name, skin color, religion or what have you. Although I love American soil, what I love the most is the IDEA the greatest country on earth is based on.
