Paraspinal abscess caused by staph infection

I feel as though I have learned so much about staph infections causing boils and abscesses. I learned it in a real bad manner.
My (I would say closest friend locally) is in the hospital due to a staph infection that has created abscesses on her back. she under went one round of surgery and then found out there is more abscess most likely from the chest tube dropping a drip back into her when they removed it...Well now it does not look so good. She is to under go more surgery tomorrow to remove the abscess however now they are stating the pleural area is taking in fluids that also need to be drained, to go along with this she now needs to get her bones scrapped as it seems as though it has affected the bone. This sucks....I need to vent so I am doing it here....As if I am not stressed or anything having a migraine for 3 almost 4 days now straight!!!
But while I vent I want to tell the people here (juicers and users) to be careful and use clean shit and make sure everything is clean..From every site I have read another main way to contract this is through intravenous drug usage and of course injectable steroids. If you already have a compromised immune system than you need to be extremely careful..I am not at all stating this is how she received it, hers happened to be from being an idiot and picking at a wound more than she should have...However I just found the reads very interesting while researching it all.
You would think that eventually staph and all the resistant bacterias would be able to be contained and managed in better ways. It just pisses me off...Maybe I should become a scientist and create miracle drugs.....
