Paranormal experiences anyone?

I have always had a keen interest in the paranormal and myself and a few friends go out to known haunted places where we video tape and take still pictures

lately(past 2 weeks) my house has been going wacky,my cat has been attacking this one spot on my wall and I decided to video tape it with the night vision on my camera.I got some orbs flying around and then ecto mist that starts above the cat and then goes out the front window of my house.

Nobody in my house has got a good sleep lately except my dad who works nights and sleep during the day,when this damn thing seems to be dormant,and dispite constantly telling this thing to go away it shakes our beds at night,moves things infront of us,like paper and sticks its head in rooms where people are sleeping.

I find this all amusing except for the fact that I cant sleep.

i dreamed this about a month after my much beloved father died from cancer/chemotheraphy:

in my dream, i woke up to his hand shaking my shoulder, and him asking me if i planned on sleeping my life away. my mother was calling out thru the door way that breakfast would be ready soon, in a voice filled with love and happiness and affection that i hadn't heard out of her since my father died. he sat on the edge of my bed and talked about us needing to work on my mother's car, painting the house, normal everyday stuff, as if he hadn't died.
in the dream, i asked him how was it that he was alive and healthy and back with us. he just smiled and said "i've never left. i will always be with you".

after waking up, i was so shaken, i turned light on in the house and refused to go to sleep for the rest of the night.

i have had this exact, same dream several times.

My paranormal experience happened 2 years ago I was walking on the street and saw this strange person who greeted me with a hello and then I turn arround and I could swear than he had vanished right before my eyes. I then procceded to walk and saw the same person again greeting me with the same hello, and then as I turned arround he was no were to be found. later on in the evening I was walking to the parking lot and saw the exact same person come out of nowhere greeting me with the exact same hello. When I turned arround to ask for his name he was nowhere to be found. This incident happened to me 3 times in one day with the same person. I was scared shitless amd could not sleep for 1 week after this incident occured. I think that I had just had a close encounter with a ghost. To this day I will never forget about this incident. I don't know what happened that day, but one thing I know for sure is that it is a very strange world we live in .

Oh yea! I Live in a haunted house myself. Growing up I have had many friends that have lived in haunted houses also. I have tons of crazy ass stories. Most of them do the same stuff. Play with lights, move stuff around, footsteps upstairs and occasionally they show there self to my wife and kids but never me. Ive had allot of times where Ive turned my head really quick thinking I just seen something out of the corner of my eye but I've never actually seen it or them. I have most definitely heard it many times. It used to wake me up right when I was almost asleep. Ive read book where the time right before you go to sleep is the easiest way for the other side to contact you so this may have something to do with it. Anyway I would almost be asleep and BAM!! I would hear a loud bang but it was a bang just in my head! It would startle me and I would snap up with my eyes wide open thinking a gun just went off. After a few weeks of this on and off i knew what it was and it would just piss me off. Most of the major stuff happened a few years ago. My wife would walk by a picture in the kitchen and it would swing back and forth! And at the same time every night she would hear footsteps upstairs. I'm getting goose bumps right now by the way. My 2 year old daughter at the time would wake my wife up and say I'm looking at something and by the look on her face you could tell what it was! And Ive saved the best one for last! That is in this house anyway. I have ones 1000x better that have happened to my friends but anyway when the ghost where really active a few years ago they would talk through my computer speakers! Oh yea at first it was really muffled like there was distortion in my speakers after a few days whatever it was seemed to perfect it. lol because it was talking. At first I thought it was truckers talking on a CB somehow coming through my speakers but it would say the same shit every night! Sounded like a total redneck. He would whistle when my wife would walk by and that spooked her out completely and he would always go yyyeeeeehhaaaaaaaa! when I would play quake or unreal tourney the whole fucking game! Yes it was annoying but I learned to live with it for months. We also kept the ghost thing quiet because we didn't want people thinking we where crazy. One day I came home getting ready to lift weights in my basement and decided to check my email and it came on and said something directly to me! It said hey I'm down here in the basement! Holy fuck i have goose bumps all over now. I said oh really...... No answer they it said it again the same way. Oh my! My weights are in the basement and I was so fucking spooked I had to go to my friends house and lift. My brother also would come over and lift weights when I was at work sometimes. LOL. I came home one day and he said something is wrong with your computer. I said why is that. He said your speakers are talking shit. LOL. I said what did they say. He said it was talking like it was having a conversation with someone. I thought that was some funny shit. That damn ghost has done so much shit here I cant stop telling the stories. I have to tell this one also because I think this is what calmed it down I think. I was working 3rd shift at the time and my wife and kids would sleep downstairs in the living room allot because they where afraid of the footsteps upstairs. It was In December and I had just put the Xmas tree up in the corner by the window. My wife and kids awoke on the floor with a Xmas tree falling on top of them! Nobody got hurt thank god but my wife was a half hour late waking up to get the kids ready for school Mable it was trying to wake her up. But I came home and she was kind of pissed at me for not putting it up good. I am one of those guys who makes the tree as level as possible and I had bought a good tree stand to put it in. I picked the tree up and it was not leaning at all. I pulled it ever direction and let go of it and it would snap back into place because of the holder was full of about 3 gallons of water. Well it happened again that same day but nobody was there. I blew up! Called it out and said your going to burn my house down. I just went on if you want me fight me leave my family alone! I was a madman and I was not even on Fina at the time. I told it to stop scaring my kids and it was time to move on. I took some twine and tied the tree to the wall with screws in the studs to make sure it didn't happen again. My wife read some prayers and it after that day things still happen but not nearly as bad. Damn sorry for the long read just wanted to share my experiences.

Oh yea I have them damn orbs in my house also. And at one time my wife could hardly take any pictures of her ebay stuff because the damn ectoplasm shit would appear.

i have had this exact, same dream several times.

I think this was a visit not a dream. Ive had them happen to me also from my best friend I had in the Marine Corps who died in a Motorcycle accident. You can tell because most dreams fade pretty quick and some stay for a few days but a visit you remember much better. The one I had 4 years ago still in my head pretty good.

Yes it is. Lots of people know about it now and they all say the same thing why dont you get the hell out. I used to tell people that untill it happened to me. Where am I supposed to go? I cant afford to buy another house now so fuck that ghost. If he/she or whatever started movinging stuff in front of me I dont know if I could handle it. Or if it peaked its head into my room I would most definitly flip out.

The only thing I've ever witnessed remotely similar to this was at a friends place, which happened to be an old farmhouse, had to be 50-60 years old. It's an old two story house, the basement is really just "dug" into the grown, dirt floor, not finished, getting old and creaky. Anyway, in one of the upstairs bedrooms there is another "small room" about the size of a walk in closet, but, it was just empty, nothing in it. The scarey thing was that in this small room in the corner on the ceiling the name "DARYL" had been formed in the ceiling by what appeared to be water damage although the ceiling was nice and smooth and was in perfect condition Now, my friends swear up and down that on multiple occassions they heard things like squeaking of the floors or doors open and shut, but, I never witnessed anything like that. But, the fact that the name for some reason had formed in the ceiling and the really negative energy and feel that back room put off was more than enough to keep me out of that area and not in the house by myself. Also, my friend that lived there and I tried to research some of the public records for the house to determine whether or not a person named Darryl ever owned the house or if an type of murder had ever taken place, but, to no avail.

99% of the time the spirit is completely benign,and most folks learn to live with it.It's usually just the energy of a previous occupant within that space that doesn't(or fails to)realize it has crossed dimensions(often times due to a tragic or violent end),or is so fond of that space that it chooses to remain there rather than move on.

Yes,lots of orb pics,as well as points of light moving,ecto clouds,etc...Really fascinating stuff.

My story isn't as spectacular as any of the hauntings people have talked about in this thread, but I did have a freaky seance experience that cemented my belief in the paranormal...

My friend Krystal died in a car accident over Thanksgiving weekend when I was a freshman in high school. A few months after, some girlfriends and I were screwing around at a slumber party, and we decided to have a seance. The mother of the girl whose house we were staying at had a bunch of metaphysical books and supplies, so we figured, what the hell. We sat in a circle, held hands, and put a candle and a crystall ball in the center, going by what a seance book instructed us to do. (The crystal ball weighed about 5 pounds, and it rested on a stand with a concaved bottom. Remember this.) Someone got the idea of calling Krystal's spirit. As soon as we asked to commune with her, the crystal ball popped off its stand and rolled several feet towards the girl who'd suggested we try and reach her. We stuck to ice cream, makeovers, and movies for the rest of the night after that.
