hey
I was talking to a mate the other day and we got onto the topic of someone we know who got arrested at customs with 700 pills in his stomach, he got caught because someone rang the fuzz about him briging it into the country, anyway that got me thinking about paperbolics and how that is done, take for example something like mdma or coke, why dont people use the same method as paperbolics? is it because people just havent got to that yet? i.e they dont know about it or is it because it is just a risky to try bring pills in? surely if something like coke or mdma where as paper then they could be mailed as i assume drug dogs are at a minimum at the postal center anyone have any ideas about this? this is purely out of curiosity and i have no wish to try it, it just made me curious

Narcotics have been produced in a multitude of ways in attempts to more easily transport them. The coke, heroin and meth are very large industries with a lot of money in them, and I've read many DEA reports (complete with photos) showing much higher-tech methods then paper. I would guess that these markets are way past such methods for importing, especially the large amounts that high-end producers deal with.

I think steroids are the biggest mail-order controlled substance out there dealing with individual users, and coupling that with the lack of "street" dealers like narcotics have in larger cites, using the paper method for such drugs wouldn't be very cost or time-effective at the buyer or seller end. The narcotics market simply doesn't rely on the USPS like the steroid market does. With steroids, there was a high demand for this method... I don't see it existing for other drugs at this time.

Further, the police, DEA and various others in drug enforcement are all very aware of paper technology, so it's no trade secret. The "paper" is really just a flattened pill, thus topologically invariant from pills... and hence, not really any different. Whether someone wants to move 10k round pills or 10k flat pills, most of the same problems exist.
