Painful pumps on low dose test?

I am on 250mg test cyp ew (2x125mg mon/thurs) as part of my HRT regimen.. at first, I thought the pain in my legs was just shin splints from bad shoes, hard surfaces, etc while playing basketball.. now I am starting to question whether or not they are just extreme pumps I am getting, because they start to hurt at about the same time as I feel my back getting really pumped -- and unlike shin splints, the pain is gone within 2-3 hours.

Anyone else experience pumps like that on a low dose of test?

Same thing happened to me bro, I just finished up 12 weeks of 250 test E and most times doing a brisk walk on the treadmill my right shin was killin me like a bastard. Shoulder workouts are the worst for me because I get the pumps so bad.
 
how did u guys do on 250 a week? i have considered 300-350 a week for 12 weeks or so. recovery was easy?

i just wonder wht the diff between tht and 500 a week is.
 
i was on 225mg/eow for about 16 months.. now my new doctor kicked it up to 250/week..its only been about 2.5 weeks, but i'm already gaining weight :)
 
hey mike, how old are you?? HRT already, from your avi you look fairly young. dont have any thought on the pumps though. i'm on 250mg ew right now too. hope it works out for you.
 
22.. i am young.

doc thinks there was some sort of trauma during my pubescent years that blunted my test production..seemingly when i was about 15. it seems that right after most of my 'adult' qualities had come in, my [test] production slowed down tremendously. got tested when i was 21 and my levels were about 280 :( -- no wonder i couldnt put on weight for shit. since then, i've put on about 45 lbs.
here's about 9 months worth of growth ..

now that my diet is in check, i should be seeing much more.. that was also only with 225mg every other week.. diet+250/week should be nice :)
 
thx man.. i'm trying. had a lot of shit go down to where i needed to take 5 months off at the gym.. school shit, trying to graduate sometime this century.

people who i havent seen in like 6 months dont even recognize me anymore.. i still think i'm skinny, but i'm psychologically stuck there from always being the real skinny kid (131 @ 6' when you're 21 is shitty) :(

now my routine and diet are in check, test is kicked up.. should hit 200 in a few months, i'm hoping.. bulking heavy (not entirely clean, but bulking nonetheless).. once i hit 220 i'll cut down, then bulk back up again.. my goal is about 235 @ 10-12%
 
I hear ya bro, some things in life get in the way of our training style and we need to take a little break here and there.

Yeah, I guess I am happy that it happened at the beginning of my lifting career, rather than when I was already knee-deep. :)

Id be wary of going on 250mg hrt lol...i think 125mg is pretty high

why did ur doc push u up?

and wht were ur levels before and after? what r they now?
 
btw im as tall as u...when i was 18 i weighed 55 lol...in pounds thats 132

always had trouble pickin up weight

total test now is 490...low for my age...hrt prob in 5 years time
 
levels before were 280, at 21 years old..

i'm getting my levels tested again shortly.. next few weeks. i'm guessing 1000+
 
surely he mustve tested free test? thats more important than total test. Although at 21 ur tot test was def too low

Find it odd though the dude would prescribe 20 for hrt lol...

hope he gives u lipid and estradiol checks as well...
 
I've experienced something like that on D-bol.

I think maybe you should consider alternative training methods, and give the steroids a rest for awhile.

And you can get tons of great training info on that site (*for free) as well. I'd consider dropping the gear (which is causing you pain/pumps that you don't want right now)- and focus on getting your training in order, then maybe going back to the gear at a later date.
