painful finger prick

about a week ago, after injecting myself in glute with tren, i mistakanely pricked my index finger with needle. gotta say it hurt like hell.

a week later it has not quite healed but for a few days it turned into a scary looking blood blister. i was tempted to see a doc about it but let it run its course.

is there anything to worry about pricking yourself with a needle AFTER injecting? has this happened to anyone else?

This has happened to me before. One time i was putting the cap back on the needle and it poked right through the plastic and i caught it in the finger. I wouldnt worry about it, no different than poking yourself with other sharp objects laying around the house. If it was somebody else's needle there would be more room for concern, but if its your own, just clean it up like you would any other cut and you should be okay.

YA! YA! YA! everyone's a comedian.

the only thing that worried me was the blood blister that formed, and has taken a suprisingly long time to heal. can't figure out why a blood blister would form after being pricked by a needle.

A blood blister is caused when you rupture a/some capillaries and there is obviously blood there. Your body also sends blood there to protect the tissue below much like a regular friction type blister you would get on your heel on a hike or something. That is clear fluid (some blood but mostly water) that is there to cushion an irritation felt by the body. SO, your situation sounds like you pricked a capillarie or two and thats how your body responds. You can either leave it or drain it. If you are sterile you can drain it with a syringe dart (just prick it no need to draw) and then squeeze your finger till the blood stops coming out. Or you can just leave it. I have found it fells better to drain it sometimes to relive the pressure built up in the blister. Your call man.

i was at my cousins house and i injected and i couldnt find the cap so i just threw the needle in the garbage and a day later when my cousins girlfriend took out the trash the needle poked thru the bag and went into her leg...it was funny

Try "Liquid Bandage". It dries hard and clear, has a pain killer in it, and kills the germs. Any cut to the fingers keeps getting hit and needs to be sealed up.
