Nah there's more than 20. The rank exists in all services except the Air Force (they got rid of it) and the Coast Guard (they never implemented it).

So between the Army, Navy, and Marines there are definitely more than 20.

And yes they know their stuff, they are awesome at what they do.

I think I remember seeing somewhere around the time of my EAS there was like 12 or 13 in the Corps total.

Navy made its 1st CWO5 in 2003. There are only a few there.

Just pissed. Me and my partner were both released so I'm not in the best of moods. Live and learn.

They fired the cafeteria worker but said it had to be equal across the board. I'm not worried too much, I have buddies high up in other departments that are working with me on this.

I'm fighting it right now. I have to go through the steps. I have statements from other officers that were there to help me plus when I was talking to the director she made the comment that the only reason I said something to him was because I'm a male and it must be a testosterone thing so hopefully I can use that as a sexist bias and get around her decision in some way. This is far from over IMO

This makes no sense. I work at a PD.

To get into a PD, you need an access card and reason to be there. If you're a visitor - you're escorted at all times.

How could he have just gotten in and start randomly taking pictures? And how oculd he have just "walked" up to the chief and complained? All members of the public have to file complaints with IA or talk to the watch commander. They can't just call up the chief and ask to speak to him. Unless it's a real real tiny pd. And even to be suspended to desk duty - you get a hearing and allowed to defend yourself.

He wasnt a visitor. We have a cafeteria in our building, he worked there. When I had my meeting I met with him my Lt. And a woman from HR.

odd. So he took a break from his cafe job and started taking pics of all you guys?? Civis who interact with cops all day are usually cool. Weird the PD would have a meeting with HIM present as well. Never seen that. Your PD has some wacky IA procedures.

No he wasn't there, by "him" I mean my chief. My bad. He was in the room before I got there so I'm guessing he was in break or lunch.

He is a really creepy ass dude. Pale skinned ginger with freckles. He creeps out all the females with weird comments. One day me and some other officers were hanging out in the back smoke pit talking about sex and he popped off "I piss on bitches to mark my place". I mean fuck, he wasn't even in our conversation lol just flat out weird.

Anyway, the OP is a fucktard security guard mall cop. His whole story is a bag of rocks. You don't just up and one day get shit canned from your job in civil service. There are appeals, boards, and with the backing of a police association and attorneys - shit takes time. To just all of a sudden be "released" unless your a royal fuckup.

Lying mall scum wasting our time

well ur case is making no sense. He gives you a death threat in front of witnesses (otehr cops) and YOU get suspended? We have cops here put peoples heads through windows and dno't get suspended. And no one ever gets a chance to talk to the chief. It always go through IA. Cops get complaints ALL THE TIME. In fact during the initial hearing, there is NO ONE allowed except investigaotr, officer being investigated and a camera (and shop steward if allowed). You should talk to the attorney from your union.

Union and state rules may be broken here. Look up garrity rights. And no matter the ruling - you can always contest it. Complaints about beat cops are a dime a dozen. IA is *usually* on your side and just want to finish the paperwork and move on.

You should post this on officer.com.
