P.O. Box name

if your going to open up a P.O box would you use a fake name, do they cross reference names given to them or would you just use your real name... theoretically ofcorse

In Chicago you have to wait until your mailman or postal inspector physically goes to the address listed on your license and verifies that you live at that address before you can open a PO box.

No Shit? I recommend using a 24 hour facility, hopefully no camera, and two forms of bogus ID to open a box if you are asking for juice purposes. Using your real name on a box then doing something illegal, can cost you your freedom for several years. Take the time to get a bad ID, they are available and worth the time and trouble to avoid a possible 5 year stretch in a Federal Corrections Institute.

Yeah, I thought it was going to be easy to get a PO box. My DL still has the address from a MBE that I've rented for a few years. I figured, they'd have a bogus address, just to keep me one step further away from things. Anyway, so I tell the woman, "I want this box...the one for $110 for 6 months." And I pull out the cash. "Oh no. You can't have it now. First we need a copy of your drivers license. Then, we will verify with your mail carrier that you actually live and receive mail at that address. When the process is complete, we'll call you, and then you can come in and rent the box. So I'll need your DL and your current phone number."

Needless to stay, I never got it.
