As many of you know, my husband, who is a member of this board, has been addicted to Oxycontins now for approx 2 months since his back surgery. Yesterday, i brought him to his Neurologist (he did the operation) and he prescribed him a drug called MS-Contin 30mg. They are sustained-release Morphine tablets. Are these even stronger than oxy's? The reason he was given these was because his tolerence to oxycontins was growing out of control (160-200mg/day) and they are in the process of finding him an addiction specialist that will cooperate with our health insurance. Are these MS-Contins stronger than Oxy's? Thank you all for your help and support since i've come onto this board, i truly appreciate everyone's help!
THANK YOU ALL!!
