I'm no angel when it comes to partying but these are something I won't touch. I know they are very addictive does anyone know exactly how long it takes for a person to become physically addicted.

Two of my girlfriends' friends just died from that shit. If you do it a few days straight you will be addicted.

its basically clean heroin. addiction varies from person to person. if they have addictive personalities and have easy access to the oxycontins it'll be sooner more than later. There's no set timetable for a person to get addicted.

My dad had OC by prescription for about a year...he had a very hard time coming off them. He gave me a few because I get migraines...I can see how they are so easilly addicting. The doc gave him OC after Vicodin didn't give him relief anymore. There are many other drugs out there that'll give you a nice buzz without being so addicting IMO...steer your friends away from regular use.

Thing too he's always complaining about not having a girlfriend, but he gets them then they leave him because of his problem. If anybody says something to him he just says "yeah, I know". Then the next day he's back doing the same thing.

I have a friend who STARTS his day with 80mg...
From what I seen of about 6 people that got hooked on this shit, once they get to the point where they're basically continuously high (ie: wake-up and hit it, then again in the afternoon, then again in the evening day after day) these people find it very painfull to stop. I watched people do it every few days, but not continuously in between, and they could easily walk away from it if they wanted to.
I've done it a few times. I did a 40, felt okay started scratching like crazy then couldnt sleep. A week later I did a 40 then another in a few hours. The next day I felt like crap: nausea, head ache, itchy. Then a month later I stayed high for a whole day on the stuff. The following day and a half was pure agony. I asked my friends how they dealt with the agony and they were like, "that's why you dont let yourself come down." I never touched it again.
Everyone I've known to get hooked has made the conscious decision to stay on for a prolonged period of time just becuase they "thought it would be fun" then they stay on becuase they "can't bear the pain of stopping."

GET AWAY FROM THOSE THINGS BRO I KNOW FIRST HAND I THOUGHT THEY WERE THE SHIT AND WAS TAKING THE 80MG TABS A DAY OR MORE THEN FOUND OUT IT WAS THE SAME THING AS HEROIN AND THAT EVERYONE KNEW I WAS ON SOMETHING THEN ONE DAY I TRIED TO REMEMBER WHAT I HAD BEEN DOIN THE NIGHT BEFORE AND COULD'NT MY GIRL WAS SCARED SHITLESS I DUMPED ALL OF THEM, THEN WENT THROUGH HELL FOR ABOUT 2 WEEKS THROWING UP DEPPRESSION ITS THE SAME WITHDRAWL AS HEROIN I WANTED TO DIE I AM JUST STARTING TO FEEL NORMAL AND ABLE TO SLEEP AGAIN I AM NEVER GOING TO TOUCH ANY PAIN KILLER AGAIN TELL YOUR FRIENDS THEY ARE TAKING A CLEAN FORM OF HEROIN BASICALLY.

ADDICTION DEPENDS ON THE PERSON. PERSONALLY, I THINK IT IS VERY HARD FOR ME TO GET ADDICTED TO ANYTHING. BUT THATS JUST ME.
AS FOR OXY, IF A PERSON IS WEAK MINDED, THEY WILL BE ADDICTED QUICK. I KNOW QUITE A FEW PEOPLE WHO ARE ADDICTED TO THEM AND I ALSO KNOW SOMEONE WHO DIED ON THEM.

HS YOUR RIGHT I DID THEN I STARTED FUCKIN AROUND WITH PAIN KILLERS IT DID NOT MESS WITH MY SIZE AT ALL BUT I KNOW IT IS BAD FOR ME I GOT CUAGHT UP, THEN I WAS ADDICTED NOT MENTALLY BUT PHYSICALLY I HAVE NOT PUT ANYTHING TOXIC INTO MY BODY FOR ABOUT A WEEK AND A HALF AND FEEL NORMAL FOR THE FIRST TIME IN A LONG TIME ITS GREAT I'LL NEVER DO THAT AGAIN. I WAS POPPIN PILLS EVERYDAY BUT STILL NOT DRINKING ALCOHOL BECAUSE OF THE WEIGHT GAIN FROM IT CRAZY. KAYNE OXYCOTTON'S ARE PHYISICALLY ADDICTING IF YOU HAVE BEEN TAKING THEM FOR A WHILE I WAS NEVER MENTALLY ADDICTED I JUST WENT COLD TURKEY BUT WAS SICK FOR ABOUT 2 WEEKS AND I KNOW IT WAS THEM AS WHEN I TOOK SMALL TINY AMOUNTS MY SICKNESS WENT AWAY UNTIL I WENT COLD TURKEY. MY DOC TOLD ME IT IS THE SAME THING AS TAKING AND COMING OFF OF HEROIN.
