New member
Is this possible...........While i am on I feel i can go forever,,,,,time not at work i would love to spend in gym but when is enuff ....I am doing 4days on 2 off also doing am -pm splits I feel strong and I am gaining weight. But feel I can do more P.S rite now i am taking 200mg test eth every 3 days plus 50 mg dbol. ed...Anyone out there suffer the same way........????

everyone is different...you can overtrain still...you not taking a lot of grear so i wouldnt up the sets by much......just train harder..

YES, you can definately overtrain while ON. Its IS possible.

You may be enhaced while ON, but you are not Superman.

This is just another reason why newbies should NOT use AS (I am not saying that you are, just a general comment). You must know what your limits are, and what the signals are for YOU that tell you the appropriate training level, when you are starting to do too much, etc. Yes, you wil be able to do more while on, but you need to be able to "listen" to your body and know when too much is too much.

This should be a sticky.

I agree, and I would add one thing. When I was younger, I really tend to push the envelope in terms of maxing out, because I was so impressed with myself that my strength was improving every workout. This is NOT the way to train a muscle. I'm not saying that's what you were doing, just saying that's a mistake I made.

The bigger and stronger you get the more time that is needed for recovery.

It sounds f*cked up but the less I lift, the stronger I seem to get. One body part a week still isnt enough rest for me personally. I find that I make the best gains with about 8-9 days of rest between large body parts (chest, back, legs). This makes it EXTREMELY difficult for me to train correctly when on because Ive been so brainwashed my whole life that I still feel like Im wasting my cycle if I dont go to the gym even when all the signs are sayin to take a few days off.

Life could be worse though.

Just like you guys have been saying, you have to learn to listen to your body. I'm on my first cycle now (500mg test/300mg deca/30mg dbol first four weeks) and have learned my body can go 5 on/2 off without pushing it too hard. Without gear, I needed two days in between workouts, and a good week to week and a half to rest up each muscle group. So just learn to listen to your body and you'll continue making quality gains. There's no rule that says you have to follow a 4 on/2 off routine or that you HAVE to work each muscle group once a week. Do what feels right for you and take it day by day.

its nice to hear some voices of reason about over training on here. I need about 5 days after my workout to recover. I switched to one full body per week about 3 years ago, it has done wonders for me.

I laugh every time i see or hear about a guy doing 20 sets of curls. I do my whole body in less sets.

I am clean up to this point, the only reason i would use is to decrese my recovery time.

Its a tuff one.........My body feels I can do more,,,,I train at 4pm and right after i have my dinner(about 5;30) But by 8 i feel ready to go again.I have been going and doing cardio but just have the urge to lift...I have been stopping myself..But the voices in my head wanna push me...just kidding no voices..my diets real good i eat every 3 hours and I sleep from 9-6am ed So I am getting plenty of rest.......Just wanna do more......Thats why i ask this ??

Yes you can

But overtraining on gear is a lot harder to due because of nature of gear the best thing I found out to do is make my workouts more intense and sometimes throw a few extra sets in there for some exztra fatigue.
