If anyone is interested, come to downtown Yonkers and check out Citi's Yonkers Main Street Film Series.
On Thursday nights we shut down Main Street by the train station and have a 25ft movie screen set up and play movies. Last night was our first one and we had about 200 people there. We showed "Grease." It was pretty cool.
On September 27th we will show "Ghostbusters" and we will have Bill Murray there to host it. He is a part owner in the local restaurant X2O in Yonkers.
On October 11th we will show "A Tale of Two Pizzias." It was filmed in Yonkers and stars a bunch of the guys from the Sopranos. Pretty funny movie.
