I posted about this a long time ago before, and it was said to be pulsary (or something like that).. But anyways i was chillin at the football game when all the sudden i felt pressure in my heart build up and up (took like 10 secs). then it got REALLY REALLY bad so i took a deep breathe and felt my heart POP! And it wasnt a pop like it just hurt, it was a pop like something POPPED! and it hurt bad for a second.. should i be worried?

YOUR HEART?

What are you asking for? I would of ran to the damn doc.You can't take any chances with that.

Go have that seen ASAP bro, that is nothing to fuck around with. You should have an EKG ran and X-rays to examine what the hell is amiss.I would recommend an appointment with a cardiologist ASAP.

I know what your talking about I used to get them when I was a kid. You can feel it cramping and takes away your breath then a real sharp pain then it goes away. I very rarely get them anymore. I've told doc bout it before and he said heart sounded fine.

Go get is checked out but it might be as little as a rib out. that has happened to me scared me hope this is all it is GOOD LUCK bro keep us posted ;-)

Are you fuckin kidding me, What the hell are you doing on the boards ? Get your ass to the doc!! The heart is the life line to your body and heart problems are nothing to fuck with

This may sound weird, but trust me. If you don't have insurance, just stop by your local EMS service and ask one of the EMT/Paramedic folks to run a 12 lead on you and that will basically identify any poroblems you might have--thse folks are (usually) very talented but under-appreciated and would be more than happy to help out. However, if you have insurance, see a Doc immediately.

i think i used to have something like that when i was younger too. when this happens to you, do you hurt when breathing in? and if you take a really deep and fast breath, then you feel the pop? then after the pop the pain goes away immediately?

if so, i don't know what the hell it is, but i used to get them all the time growing up.

i'd be interested to find out what that is. anyone have any ideas? ? ? i went to the doctor (mother made me go) when i was about 10 or so because i would get them so much. she worried and took me. the doc ran a bunch of tests and said what ever it was, i was fine.

AHHHHH! exactly dammit,, i think everyone has em! haha.. kewl.. and of course i have insurance.

1. Go see a doc... do an ECG!... but it's rather useless when your heart is beating normally... ECG is useful to catch the irregular heart beats when they happen!

2. It happens to me too... save your life by coughing slowly.. yeah! I don't have that article handy.. but do a search... it's somthing like when you cough, the pressing of the diaphram and lungs push the heart back into normal beating... it works!

Bro, by all means, go to a doc, however, I would be surprised if this had anything to do with your heart. There is a small separation (some have it more than others) in the front of the chests ribs that can actually "pop" in and out. It is somewhat similar to a misaligned vertebrae you can get in your back. If you lay or sit wrong, these bones can misalign and you'll feel a lot of pressure there that will start to build up, when you take a deep breath or push your chest out it can, and will pop back into correct alignment. This is not BS, my brother had this for his entire teen age years and into his 20's. He was worried about it and I did some serious research about it and found this stuff. It was better than 20 years ago so i don't know where I got it from. Anyway, go to a doc because that's prudent, but don't rule out something other than your heart. hth

holy shit bro.....there is no way that can be good.....like everyone else said get your ass to the doc

I agree i've never heard of that happening!!! GET IT CHECKED!!!! RADAR

PLEURISY is what you were trying to say. Look it up now that i gave you the right spelling.

Its an inflammation of the lung pleura, which is just the covering of the lung. Its a vague deal and not much you can do. It causes pain on breathing in. The important thing is to rule out other more serious problems.

It could also be a rubbing of bone on cartilage of your sternum. How old are you and what other meds/gear are you taking? What other medical problems do you have?

An ekg wouldnt hurt and its inexpensive, but an echo is not necessary unless you have other heart problems.

ive done 1 light (REALLY LIGHT) cycle about 4 months ago, this has been happening all my life. I dont have any medical conditions. Right now im on accutane.

How long on the accutane? It is not for long term use due to liver/kidney sides.

How old are you? Off the top of my head i would say it is a cartilage rubbing on bone problem if you say it is popping and if you are a young guy. Otherwise, pleurisy. See a doc to rule out other potetnially serious things.
